You know what, there is lots of freebie resources out there that many members may not know about. If you can name some, it might not just help you by reading here but it may help your ClixSense referrals as well. Understand, this topic is not about promoting affiliate programs or biz ops. Here is some I can think of off the top of my head:

Blogger
Twitter
MySpace
FaceBook
LinkIn
Squidoo

One of my favorite freebie tools is offered by ClixSense. If you are posting your referral link on traffic exchanges, blogs, twitter, etc, you should be using the "My Campaign" tool that allows you to track your promotions.

For example, if you are promoting your link on Twitter, all you would have to do is add a &twit to the end of your referral link. ClixSense would then begin to track how many unique hits your link receives and records this info for you to use under your "Affiliates" link. Click on Affiliates and on the drop down, click My Campaigns to see more.

This tool allows you to see lifetime tracking, or you can breakdown the stats into month, week, day, even hour by hour. It's a great tool to help you track which sites are working best to attract referrals and which sites are bringing in refs that stay active.

Before I sign up for any program I like to do a little research and one of the programs I use is Domain Age Checker. Just Google domain age checker to find one that you like. I use SEO Logs myself. This is a great way to find out if this is an established site and to compare the result vs what the website states under it's copyright date. You would be surprised just how many scams will try to say they have been in business for x amount of years, then come to find out they have only been online for a few months or even weeks.

Below is a short description:

Domain Age Checker

Use this tool to find the age of a domain.

The age of a website is one of the major factors used to rank a website. Age can also increse the amount of money that can be made from advertising on the site, or sale of the website.

For example:

Enter clixsense.com

Result:

Results for clixsense.com :
Domain Created on:
December 29 2006

Domain age (approximately):
4 Years, 10 Months, 12 days.

Nice little handy tool and free.

Aw C'mon, you folks out there can name a whole lot more.

Do you use Gmail?
What about email?

Do you know you can set up a gmail profile friends page?
Do you know you can enter your CS ref url into your gmail chat so that everyone else that has contacted you by gmail, will see in their gmail chat list, your url...it's clickable to them too.

Whatever email you use, do you a signature line set up?
