Error Message?

I used to wonder why I got this error message:

"This Page Has Been Opened Too Long"

For example on one of the Advertisers website I watched a video that ran for a few minutes, after closing the page I got that error message.

I thought surely the Advertisers would want us to stay on their website for as long as we wanted to.

Then I realized that if I clicked on the websites URL it would open up in a new window, I could then leave it there whilst I continued to surf the other Ad's then go back to their website after I'd finished my Ad views.

I'm just saying this in case others have had the same message and wondered why, maybe I'm a bit slow at picking things up

Have a nice day all,
Jim

This message you are getting is just a warning to let you know that the ads may have already expired, and to avoid having you click on an ad, say 10 minutes after that ad had been assigned to you, just to receive an error that the ad is no longer available.

Most ads are allocated to an account for up to 1 hour. You don't really have to worry much about that warning but some ads to expire faster.

All you need to do is to refresh the page or click on the link under that warning box to refresh your allocated ads. When an advertiser purchases for example 1000 clicks those clicks do expire and can't be allocated to someones account forever. But refreshing the page ensures that those ads keep assigned to you.

Thanks for that jasm78, I'm a wiser man today than I was yesterday, that's why this forum is such a good thing, we can have a chat amongst ourselves and get things sorted without having to involve admin, as I'm sure they have enough work to do running the business in the background.
All the best and enjoy your day,
Jim
