What does that mean exactly? What is a civilian authority compared to armed forces?
What is it that the people want exactly?

well all i can say that visiting tourism areas like pyramids were not welcomed in the past for security reasons ( ministry of interior saw that this way it is simple to protect tourists from terrorist attacks ) but you may find some egyptions who could visit pyramids and some who could not (as example : i remember that a few years ago , an egyption who lives in US , came to egypt with his american wife and children , when they went to visit pyramids the officers allowed his wife and children to visit pyramids while stopped him, at the same time i have seen some egyptions who could visit pyramids with no problems )

i think this will change now . after the situation calm down in Egypt very soon ,i hope you can come and visit egypt, and see the pyramids .

after 30 year ruling egypt , hosni mubarak resigned after egyptions made a revolution (25 - jan - 2011)

since this time , supreme counsel of armed forces took control of egypt ( 11 months)

egyption wants the supreme councel of armed forces to speed up the transfer of power to civilian rule

so in 19 november , protesters stayed at tahrir square in cairo for this reason .

yes , field marshal tantawy promised that president election will be done before 1st of july

i live about 20 minutes away (by car) from tahrir square , any one move near tahrir could get injured , alot of youth lost an eye or both

I will never understand why there is so much war and cruelty in the war and in various countries.

We should all get along and agree to disagree without forcing our beliefs and life-styles on others.

One of these days, and I may be dead long before then, but one of these days, when something
outside of this planet or deep within it, sets to destroy the human population, we will ban together
and we'll wonder why our minds were so feeble as to ever be against one another.
