In less than 2 days the biggest shopping day of the year will start! Every year we go with fingers crossed and try to make the best of the day. The deals they have going on this year are the best I have ever seen and I can't wait to go and see what I can find! How early do you wake up and go? Are you living in a tent outside a Target or Best Buy right now? ;)

I do most my shopping online and a member of a cash back shopping program.

If there was a grocery store online that would deliver, I'd probably do my grocery shopping online also.

I'm hoping to catch some of the freebies at the doors. :-)

Yea its defenitely safer to shop online, but we like to go every year for the experience and of course the sales. They are having a lot of really nice ones this year.

Did anyone get any fantastic deals?

Looks like BestBuy had some of the best deals. If I lived in the city I would have went over there for that 42 inch tv that was $199. Probably a good thing I don't live in the city because I need a tv like I need to be on the moon.

Walmart was about sold out of their special online deals for Black Friday. I did not see anything there to die for altho I would have picked up a couple of small things if they had not been sold out. They had a rubbermaid food storage set for under $7 which was a decent good buy...I use those a lot and would have bought it but sold out.

I bought a few little things at kmart online. Well one was a six foot buffet table that is normally $60 and it was $29. It's the kind you can use outside or for extra sitting. I have some long jigsaw puzzles to do and that is why I got it. They also had a pink craftsman tool bag that is normally about $20 for $10....ya I got it...gotta have that pink.

Macys has 40% off many items. I bought a tea kettle over there that is normally $100 and got it for $60. Bought a coffee perculator that is normally about $80 so got that at almost half off. If you are need of a Spring tablecloth, look at their clearance...I bought a Spring tablecloth over there and placemats a few weeks ago and that is a fantastic deal...much nicer in person and dirt cheap price....today bought the matching napkins on clearance.

HSN has an item called 'Locksy' in their kitchen clearance which is a set of food storage containers that are suppose to be a lot better than 'lock n lock', for $10. I got those.

QVC has a lilac color chenille bedspread with lots of rave reviews on clearance for $54, normally over $100, I bought that.

There was some fantastic deals on electronics online if you took the time to search around. I did not need any electronics so for the most part, did not bother to search out those.

This Christmas I am taking the easy route with the kids and grandkids. They're going to get gift cards.

I agree. They always charge way more than than similar products from other brands. But still people buy them (including me).

Just want to confirm one thing : Can I return an engraved iPod (which I purchased from their Online Store) to an Apple Store? I have read their Terms which state that they do not accept returns if products are personalized. Just want to know if you (or anyone you know) has ever got a refund/exchange for a personalized Apple product?

Also congrats on being a Moderator

I've never had to exchange or refund an apple product.

However, if it says they don't take back a personalized item then I would think that would mean an item that is engraved. With that said, I feel as if they would in fact take it back in the instance it was damaged or faulty. If a person just wanted a refund because they decided they did not like it or want it and it was engraved, my guess is they would not take it back.

Just for the record, anyone reading this, their Black Friday deal is basically $101 off big products such as mac's.
Their ipad's are around $50 off. These discounts are or should be displayed at other sellers sites as well such as
bestbuy, walmart (sells the ipad's), etc.

I don't exactly want a refund or an exchange. I just want to take advantage of today's sale.
I ordered for an iPod Touch on November 20th and didn't know about today's sale. Else I would have ordered it today and saved $20-$40 on it

Yep, I just hate when that happens. Buy something and then the next day it goes on sale.

If anyone is needing flannel sheets, Kohls has one heck of a deal. I ordered two king size sets and they are only about $32 per set and all rave reviews. Use this code CON20HH4 for an additional 20% off of $50. Plus it's free shipping with $50 order and you get $15 off your next order.

Do you have any Coupon Code for Amazon. I am interested in buying this watch - Amazon.com: Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick II Mens Watch 241183: Maverick: Watches

It says $229. Is it possible to get it cheaper using any Coupon codes ?

Well, I see a click code for $100 amazon gift card with the purchase of a smart phone. I don't know what their prices are for smart phones. If you are a wheeler dealer, you might buy the most inexpensive smart phone, get the $100 gift card, buy the watch which would then be $129, take the smart phone to ebay and sell it. :P

Yep, I think that was probably the best offline deal out there, especially if you were in the market for a new tv.

NoMoRack has a 42 inch for $150 online today. They had a few other really great deals also. I think they sold out of the best deals super fast.

Not interested in a smart phone as I bought an Android fairly recently.
So I went ahead and bought the watch at $229.
