WebRings - Ez Tool Most Often Forgotten

Webrings have been online since the dark ages.

Today, I would say webrings are probably one of the most forgotten tools in promotions.
Even so, many have thousands upon thousands of members and it can be an ez set and forget tool to gain referrals.

The first thing you need to have is a web page, website, or a blog that accepts simple code.

Next, go googling for 'web rings'. You'll probably pull up a whole lot. Look for web rings that focus on business opportunities, employment, free money, online work, work at home moms, work at home dads, work at home, etc.

Read the rules of the web ring. As a norm, you can place as many web ring codes on your site as you want.
I suggest no more than two.

You can kind of think of a web ring as a traffic exchange without the surfing for credits.

Usually the web ring will want to see your page before approving you. So make sure you have an appropriate page otherwise, you'll be denied. Make sure there is no adult content or distasteful stuff on your site.

After you're approved by the web ring, simply copy the given code and insert it where you want it places on your
page. Other members of the web ring will display your page info and you'll display there's....sort of like a banner
exchange. When their visitors click your info displayed it will take them to your page. It's very important to make
a good page with simple information about how they can earn at your ClixSense.

With all the tools and resources online today, it can be easy to forget about some of the old resources that
are simple, yet really do work.

Thanks Valerie.
An extra way of promotion never hurts. (Seems an old, forgotten way tough). It will be helpful for members who own blogs, web pages etc.
I want to ask sth. Does Webrings applicable for the splash pages that are prepared by other programs??

I guess it depends on what you have access to. If a splash page is created by a program you may not have access to the code and therefore not be able to paste the webring code into it.
