A simple distraction: simply put -- what makes you enjoy the day wide-eyed and refreshed? =D

A relaxing tumbler of tea hits the spot for me ( with something to nibble on, of course )

I was wondering where that delightful aroma was coming from.

I have mine black, in a mug that has been pre-warmed with hot water. I'll get the TimTams and be back in a jiffy.......

Good evening Valerie,

I was about to respond to your 15:09 post but saw that oberder had already answered your question, albeit in a pared-down way that does not do TimTams the justice and honour that they deserve. :(

TimTams are two finger-style chocolate malt biscuits sandwiching a rich chocolate cream filling, the entire ensemble being chocolate-coated to complete the indulgence. The original TimTams were coated with milk chocolate but the range has now expanded to include white chocolate, dark chocolate and double-coating of chocolate. The variety of cream fillings has also expanded in recent years to include caramel centred, coconut, berry, Kahlua, chilli, and Rum & Raisin (my favourite).

Of course the only way to fully appreciate the reason that TimTams are held in such high regard would be to sample one yourself. I was going to send you one of my packets but being the considerate bloke that I am I opened the packet to test one to make sure that the freshness of the product would survive the trip. Unfortunately that packet is now empty! :o

Anyway, they probably would not get past the U. S. of A. Customs officials because of their renowned addictiveness.

Arnott's was an iconic Australian brand until Campbell's Soup Company went from being a minority shareholder in the 1980's to sole owner in 1997. Many Aussies are convinced that the flavour of many varieties of Arnott's biscuits diminished as they became "Americanised", but I think that most would agree that TimTams are the exception.

I could go on.......actually, I already have, haven't I?.......but instead I will leave you with something that may help you to get the idea.

A packet of TimTams (original milk chocolate variety)

A single Dark Chocolate TimTam (Rum & Raisin flavour, I hope)

Mmmm, all of a sudden I feel hungry for TimTams :!: :D

Thanks Maliky. I surely would have appreciated the testing of the timtams. However I do realize the
temptations that a fine bloke as yourself, must endure. Perhaps another day...and by the way, could
you include, within a stay fresh container, a vegemite sandwich in the package too?
