It is not required to have a credit card for Paypal. Now all banks issue visa(Including SBI) debit card with CVV. As such you can use debit card & add your Bank zccount.RBI made it mandatory for paypal not to keepUSD in individual account but to transfer it to your bank account within 72 hours.Agreement between City Bank,iNDIA & paypal sends USD converted to INR to your Bank account under auto withdrawal system.

In case you want to use your paypal account for payment, anount willbe directly Dr. from your bank account. But be careful you are allowed to withdraw USD10,000.00/year for all your need including foreign travel.

Regarding credit card most of the bank issue credit card to their customers having saleried account.

interesting post..
may i add that the minimum you can withdraw to your bank account is $1 only. if you receive a payment less than $1 then it will remain in your paypal account until your balance reaches $1. i confirmed it with customer support. it seems that restrictions has made paypal provide better services.. :)

You are correct.USD 1 or less can't be withdrawn. But if you refill paypal by any source, that money also canot be withdrawn from paypal. It will be Cr.to your bank account.
Few months back paypal was banned by RBI under money laundring act. Then paypal was permitted to deposite the money in Bank account.
Also Paypal has to keep KYC of all Indian membrs.
Lastly, all payments information are sent to IT Dept. under PAN No. & what ever Cr.to bank a/c is fully taxable under Business & IT return to be filled in ITR2.

My paypal is permanently disabled!!!So,now the way is payza or LR. I have already created my account in both sites.payza is not verified yet,it'll be verified within next 3 days,I hope.Already heard As an Indian member,if I payout via payza, service charge will be $ 5 USD extra by payza:( So,the only way is LR.please give me some genuine & trusty agent's link from where I'll definitely get my payment as well as give me the details how to payout via LR??

mihir_modha1991 wrote: hi everyone, actually i want to know how paypal works and what process will be used for recieving payment. actually i live in gujarat near rajkot. so someone please help me regarding this. you can also mail me at wish for positive reply. thank you. :)

Paypal transfers your income from a foreign bank to your country bank. You have to open a paypal account first if you are an Indian. Secondly, you have to activate that account by providing PAN number followed by a bank account number, IFSC code of the bank in India. When you are done, Paypal will check the details through verification. It will all be done online and two small amounts of money will be transferred to your Indian bank account that you provide while creating the account. You have to update your bank pass book and enter the values of those small amount in your Paypal account. This helps you to complete the process of associating your bank account with your Paypal account. If you need any other information please let me know.
