Hope all members had a great Christmas and ddin't eat to much What are your favorite gifts you received this year?

I got a new GPS (a must have as a truck driver) and a new Putter and some accessories for my golf bag. My wife was ecstatic because she got the new Kindle she wanted lol

Oh, and can't forget the home made cookies !! mmmm mmmm good !!

I got a citizens echo drive watch. It is real pretty, has the pink face and diamonds around the bezel. Also got a necklace that is real nice.

Got a lot of other things, mainly small items like ink pens, picture frame, chocolate pecan turtles, hat, gloves, scarf, house shoes, pink ruler, stainless steel mixing bowl, wax candles, flameless candles, and some other small items...oh, I got a heating pad/massager that is made for an office chair.

Lots of fun and lots of food!

Most people gave me brief and boxers.. Now I got a full drawer of 'em.. (I got a hard time which one I will wear first)...

I know I won't fit in my new jeans anytime soon ( New Year's a-coming, another round of eating )

On my end, aside from new clothing ( cotton shirts, baggy pants and shorts ) got edible gifts too ( polvoron, local chocolate bars with crushed peanuts or Choknuts, spicy fish crackers or kropek ) and a few items like soap and roll-ons

Eat all you want and then after New Years, go on a diet...that's what I do.

( *wiggle, wiggle* ) Looks like I'll be definitely taking the advice and be working it out quite well this time, Valerie -- I think my 'baggage' is as thick as an encyclopedia by now...

At least you can wiggle it. I think my body has conformed to this office chair.

As it seems that the New Year, Christmas and my birthday are pretty close (1 week difference between the first ones and the last ones), still waiting for my gift .

A great Christmas ? Yes, I did. Good time spent in our family and at church, despite the fact that the Christmas tree is a pretty poor this year . heers!

My Christmas tree is less than 7 inches tall. Yes, it's a big job pulling it out of it's little box and flipping the battery switch to on.

PS. I actually thought about grabbing a twig outside from a tree but was not sure I could get it to stand up.

I meant, poor in ornaments. I got a few lights "thrown" there. My mom did cut its top and the star from the top was lower than the other twigs of the tree. And guess what : We glued it with gutter. Right now I am looking at it and it makes a 150 degrees angle with the strain of the Christmas tree. It is SO funny. Wish I had a camera to put it on!

At least, it is a natural one!

Oh I don't know....those original funny trees, seem to look prettier to me than the big huge plastic one's with every ornament in place.

When my children were still young children, we could not afford a whole lot of things we would have liked to have
been able to buy. We would chop down our tree and take the children with us. They were so young, they really
did not know totally why we were chopping down the tree. We'd drag the tree in the house, sit it in a bowl of water,
and sit put concrete blocks around it to keep it in standing position. We'd make ornaments for it. Pop popcorn and
string popcorn. I remember us making cookies and hanging cookies on the tree. We'd draw pictures and hang
those on the tree. Anything we had that we thought was pretty, the kids would hang it on the tree. I must say,
those were the prettiest Christmas trees I have ever had.
