Local Time for posts made on the Forum

All time-stamp for posts made on the forum are in Eastern Standard Time (EST) as indicated in the bottom right corner.

Is it possible that this be changed and displayed in the user's Local Time as its sometimes confusing for newbies?
An option in the Profile Settings or on the forum itself where users can choose their preferred Time zone can be a solution.

Depending on the user's OS, they can set a secondary / additional clock in their PC and designate that as EST ( Eastern Standard Time ) instead

:!: Control Panel -- Date and Time -- Additional Clocks

Once set up, just drag your pointer to the clock ( at the lower-right ) and the time for both local and EST should appear

It works on Win7 -- if one can't access the Control Panel, click on the Windows Log ( lower left ), and on the 'Search programs and file' bar ( the empty bar ), just type "Date and Time"; once the option appears, click on it ;)

One can set up to three clocks if needed -- I hear some PTC sites are set on Central Time

Mutchy, try these: For Mac Users, Search Engine Keywords:

1) hints, macworld, gizmovision, 10.2 menubar
2) MacUpdate, Second Time version 1.4, Macflite

 Sorry I couldn't give links; just copy-paste the keywords
