What would you buy with a $50 Best Buy gift card?

I have a $50 Best Buy gift card from Christmas and I'm not too sure what to buy with it. I know I want something that I can use and will last awhile but there is so much to choose from on their website. I spent hours looking through all of their products and I may have narrowed it down. I could buy a $50 keyboard, but I don't need it considering this one I am using still works fine despite the fact its almost 10 years old. I also looked at a $20 hard case and screen protectors for my ipod touch, but I already bought a $3 case for it which isn't the best in the world, but it keeps the scratches off so I really don't need a new case, but maybe screen protectors. I also looked at charging speaker docks for my ipod touch but I hardly ever listen to music when I'm at home so I guess I don't need that either.

There is always new movies, games and iTunes gift cards but I hardly watch movies, stopped playing games months ago to focus more on real life and the iTunes gift card just seems like a last resort which will give me just some new songs, apps or movies in the end. So basically I really can't think of anything that I need but could buy a few different things that I would use but probably not enough to make it worth using the gift card on. I guess there is always the option of trading it for a different store gift card or cash, but it would be easier to just use it on Best Buy. Wow, I never thought I would have $50 and not know what to do with it. lol!!

What would you do with it?

I'm sure there is still something you could get for the value of that $50 Best Buy Gift Card that you would want. Or maybe you could sell it on Ebay and get the money from it to get something you really want elsewhere. But if I had it, I would spend it on a video game, a movie, a printer or keyboard. Nearing it down, I would go with a new printer since I need it.

If I didn't already have a nice printer I would go with that. I know what I really need right now is a new bike because I have no way of getting around right now..(no car and no public transportation where I live). But Best Buy doesn't sell bikes and I know I couldn't find one for $50. Maybe if I put a little extra money with it I could get a decent bike for around $80-100 but I still want to make sure there is nothing from Best Buy I need or really want first.

If your keyboard is ten years old, you might want to go with a new keyboard.
You can always store the old one just in case you need it later.

You might also consider a good surge protector if you don't have one.

There are other things too such as tv stands/cabinets. It's been some years ago but best buy had a nice tv stand with a swivel top, cabinet doors below and shelf on clearance for $25 and it was a $200 stand. I bought it and it was an excellent buy. Therefore, you might want to check out their clearance items as you may come across some items reasonably priced that you can use.

A new surge protector did cross my mind. I do have a good one I purchased about 7-8 years ago that still works fine even with my modem, router, computer, monitor, printer and lamp plugged into it. However, I don't know how long these things last and the suggested time in between replacements so I should look into that and consider a new one.

We have a large armoire for the TV so don't need a TV stand. I also looked into new desk chairs but couldn't find one right for me in the price range. I am still a little focused on ipod care and thought about buying an arm strap or better case plus screen protectors but again I'm still not sure.
