Kaya pala mga tuliro ang mga pusa ngayon dito. Gawa ni leeminho.

Balik sa topic. Bagong recipe ngayon.



CASSAVA CAKE

2 cups grated cassava
2 eggs
1 cup sugar ( I use 3/4 cup only)
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
grated cheese for topping

Direction:
1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line an 8-inch square pan ( the book did not say what size of pan to use, I guess you could use any baking pan or oven-proof deep dish) with wilted banana leaf or simply butter pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine grated cassava eggs, sugar, evaporated milk, condensed milk coconut milk and melted butter, mix well. Strain a cup of the liquid and set aside for topping.
note: I added 1/4 cup of condensed milk to the reserve liquid for the topping.

3. Pour the remaining mixture the prepared pan and bake in the oven until set (about 30-35 minutes).

4. Meanwhile, cook reserve liquid for topping in a saucepan over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Pour this over baked cassava cake and sprinkle some grated cheese on top.

5. Put back in the oven for 15 more minutes or until nicely browned.

Bicol Express Ingredients:
1/4 kilo pork, thinly sliced
1 cup Baguio beans
3 cups long chili or jalapeno peppers
1 onion, minced
1 head of garlic, minced
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup coconut cream
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
Salt to taste


Bicol Express Cooking Instructions:
In a bowl of water with salt, soak chili peppers for 30 minutes then rinse and strain.
In a cooking pan, heat cooking oil and brown sliced pork for a few minutes.
In another pan, sauté minced garlic and onion.
Add to the sauté the browned pork.
Then add the coconut milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the chili peppers, Baguio beans and cook until dish gets a little dry.
Add the coconut cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Salt to taste.

favorite ko din yan bicol express, lalo na yun Bicol Express ng carinderia na kinakainan namin lagi nun college times. tuwing may luto silang bicol express, yun ang inoorder ko. sarap eh. tagal ko na din palang di nakakakain ng lutong bicol express. de lata nalang kasi madalas ang natitikman ko. :(

pritong isda na may sabaw? anu po ang sabaw niya? samin kasi meron din ganyan, ang sabaw niya ay gawa sa kamatis at may itlog din tulad ng sinabi ni madam ptcseeker. sarciado kung tawagin sa amin.

panong sweet and sour lang?
meron din samin na sweet and sour na luto. madalas tilapia ang main dish ng sweet and sour samin.
and dalawang klase sin yun sweet and sour samin, may TOYO at meron din KETCHUP (yun pula ang sauce or sabaw)
