Shubh raatri, dost. :)

Thanks for the words, friend. Yes, only the ones who have experienced would know what it goes through.
No matter what I do to deviate the mind, the mournfulness refuses to go, lol & even after several months.
You'd know, since you've faced it. I hope you have been able to gradually recompose. Never easy though, I can feel.

Oh, that's a  song. Don't want to see my friends in a doleful mood.
In this holy saturday before the day of Resurrection, may the blessings fall upon.

Here's a couple of songs two to drive away the glums:

Modest Mouse - Float On

Fleetwood Mac - Don't Stop (Thinking About Tomorrow)

T.C. :)

You're most welcome, as always. Yeah, it's not about hours, days, months or years... each one of us has their own pace to overcome such situtations...
Thank you, yes, in fact it's been more than one loss along my life, the most recent just a little more than a month ago... but I managed to go on and try to recompose myself, there is no other choice if we want to continue living. I think the most important thing is not to lose hope, ever, no matter how hard it is what we're facing.

Yep, that's a pretty sad song, but actually I wasn't in a doleful mood, at least not as much as I've been other times... it's just that I rememberd of it, and even though it's a very depressing one, it feels somehow comforting to me. :)

Thanks for those, they're nice ones!

Hope you're feeling better today, may you remain blessed too and have a happy Saturday!

Very true words there. But the fact is when someone very close leave us, it becomes very difficult to cope up with the emptiness. Consolations don't work that grief. I just hope I don't lose sanity completely.
Nice to know you have recovered & gathered yourself, needs lots of will.

Of course, no one said it was easy at all... and you're right, consolations can't take all that emptiness away, nothing can actually, except the love you felt for that person and the good memories you will always keep with you, and maybe the hope to see that person once again some day, who knows when or where...
Thank you, but I didn't mean I've recovered completely, there are still a lot of tears which haven't been dropped yet.

I've just recalled this song, it seems to me like we're somehow soldiers or warriors, so I think it's a suitable one...
I couldn't find any video with the lyrics, so I'll paste them here for you, because they're really worth it to be read.

You said you hope you don't lose your sanity completely... as this song goes, don't lose your faith, it's not so cold, it's not too late. ;)

When you came back I knew you'd have a story
You need someone to ease the pain
Of living life
You're like a soldier in the fray
Seeking shelter
From all the madness that you've seen
Raining down now

I know things change
Your world has slipped away
I know things change
But you're living like a soldier
Who's caught in the fray
Don't lose your faith
It's not so cold
It's not too late

When you were naive you were so invincible
And you laughed at anyone and anything that ever got in your way
But now the mirror shows the change
You're sinking back into the ground
An echo fading

I know things change
Your world has slipped away
I know things change
But you're living like a soldier
Who's caught in the fray
Don't lose your faith
It's not so cold
It's not too late

And I never thought I'd see
You living on your knees
A slave to some disease
That holds you captive
You can look inside of me
But the answers that you seek
Are everything you need
Is all inside you

I know things change
Your world has slipped away
I know things change
But you're living like a soldier
Who's caught in the fray
Don't lose your faith
It's not so cold
It's not too late

Very nice song with the appropriate lyrics. Thank you for sharing.

I'm sure there won't be anymore tears, but only smiles for you in the coming times. As the above song says "Don't lose your faith". Just believe in yourself. :)

You're welcome, I'm very glad you liked it!

I'm not sure of that, there will probably come both smiles and tears, but that's what life is about, isn't it? I just want to embrace it all, come what may.

Yeah, thank you; I always try to hold on and believe in myself, sometimes it's hard, but after all, I'm the only one who will be for sure by my side until the end. ;)

By the way, that Christmas song has some pretty lyrics. :)

Mix a little bit of love and violence,
Mix a little bit of truth and lies.
I see you, I feel you.
