What music/song are you listening now?

poiuy123 wrote:@Sarah_83, I started to like those songs when I first heard them long back when I was much younger, without knowing much about the band then, which I came to know later on. For me, I don't get compelled to like any song, no matter how epic or classic a song or a band it is, the likings to a song comes immediately after listening to it. I agree that genre matters very little though some types have more inclination (or aversion for that matter) than the others. But I understand what you're saying & thanks for your opinions.

Yes, I was sure you were not among the people who somehow feels "compelled" to like any song.
And yes again, each one feels more inclination/avertion towards certain genres than the others; for example, I'll always be more inclined to rock than to reggae. :)

You're most welcome, I find it interesting to exchange our points of view on music once in a while, aside from posting songs. ;)

I am not your rolling wheels – I am the highway.
I am not your carpet ride – I am the sky.

Well, I must say I love Lucky Ali's songs, specially the tracks from his album Sifar. 8-) I've every songs from it, and excepting a couple of them, the tracks there are amazing! Great lyrics and mesmerizing music. Specially if you listen to "Mil jaan se kabhi' - that song is very special. :) His songs from that album touch the soul.
Also his later Album 'Aks' have some great tracks as well.

And yes these are so nostalgic - the good old 90's when the songs had so much meaning and depth in them. :)

Oh yes, O Sanam is his breakthrough song - just superb! The other two you mentioned are also very good. Generally, I like his own album songs more but he have also sung some superhits for the films. 'Ek pal ka jina' and 'Na tum jano na hum' from 'KNPH' are one the prime examples.

I say why don't you also share some songs here in this thread as par your convenience, as & when you have time to spare. Always great to have real music-lover on board.

That's a nice song too. :) Btw: the title of the song is "Be With you". ;) It's one of those three best tracks of him; the other two being 'Bailamos' and 'Rhythm Divine'.
