I read a topic on NeoBux where a user posted that he was successful in paying through PayPal through his ICICI Bank VISA Debit Card. So I am simply posting the relevant screen-shots with a little explanation.

It's only accepted not working for buy. My Axis bank debit card also accepted but i cant buy anything, i am using entropay for purchase.

I think PayPal now accepts debit cards issued by other Indian Banks also. Because, in March 2012 I have used my AXIS Bank Debit Card without any problem.

Yes, GOLD is accepted. I remember a post on some other forum that states the same and also about YUVA card which is accepted by PayPal, but I am not sure.

As you have an SBI bank account (any bank ofcourse), you can get payment to your Bank account. There is no need of a Debit Card.

All you have to do is:
  1. Get a PAN card.
  2. Register at PayPal -- update your bank details and PAN card details in PayPal. They will send you two micro-deposits like 1.10 , 1.16 , 1.23 Rupees to your bank and you have to confirm them. They will also verify your PAN card.
  3. Done.

Important : Your name on PayPal, your name on Bank account, your name on PAN card must be the same.

I wish the same Ammadd :)
A few months back we are also not allowed for PayPal. By God's Grace, our Reserve Bank changed regulations and allowed PayPal.

I hope the same for you.

PayPal charges the Debit card for $1.95
Note the 4 digit PayPal code.

Now enter the 4 digit PayPal code to confirm your Debit Card.

Now try sending a payment and you'll see that it works :)

Hi,
Not only ICICI Bank VISA Debit Card can be used on PayPal but also all the Indian Banks those issue International VISA Debit Card or International Master Card that can be used all over the World, I mean International Visa Debit Card/Master Card Debit Card can be used on PayPal. To see which Cards are meant for International use kindly visit the Official Website of that particular Bank.
