Yes the fire has been going on for some time in Colorado.
Then a storm swept thru some states a few days ago which resulted in a lot of property damage,
and millions without electricity. With the high temps, that's also left millions without air conditioning.
It showed on the news, some that have basements have been staying in the basement where it's cooler.
And many are sitting in malls, and other places during the day, to escape the heat.
I don't like a cold house. However, with this heat wave, my air has been running 24/7, non-stop.
I'm in one of the hottest areas in the USA. It gets hotter here than in Florida. If you live on the
coast, at least you have ocean breezes that help to cool down the temp. Here in TN, it's just
sweltering heat. When I walk outside, it's like sticking my head in a furnace that has a blower
on it. Breathing in hot humid air. There is a breeze out today which actually makes it worse...
like a microwave.
