Well, it's almost Mother's Day in the States.

And here is a famous quote for you :

"You don't really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back."
William D. Tammeus

Happy Mother's day Valerie and all mothers
The amount of sacrifices a mother makes in the name of her child are insurmountable. And what makes this even more amazing, is if you ask her, she would not say a single action was a sacrifice.

44 Countries in the world recognize Mother's day, and in the United States of America, today is the day we recognize it. I was very fortunate to be raised in a home with a very loving and caring mother, we were very poor throughout my childhood. I never had the latest toy or video game system, but I did have a very loving and supportive mother. The relationship with my mom built my life and who I am today, I owe her everything because she shaped who I am.

Her lessons were of motivation, and drive. She showed me through her actions that hard work and dedication really do pay off, but more importantly she taught me of human rights. She made it obvious her beliefs through words and actions, and it was clear to me at a young age that every person was deserving of equal freedom, happiness, and respect. Even when you disagree with the person, or they disagree with you, even those who try to verbally or physically hurt you. They are people like you, and just like how you don't deserve to be denied those rights, neither do they. As Nelson Mandela said "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." Everyone has that loving peaceful person inside of them who wants to treat you with respect, who wants you to reach for success and happiness, but it gets buried by negative life events. It is a choice you can make, you can either hate or speak hate words about/to people that are different from you, or don't agree with you. Or you can choose to allow them the rights of freedom, happiness, and respect that they deserve.

I also learned that actions speak louder than words, who you are and how you behave define who you are in others eyes, not what you say.

As James Brown sang "This a Man's world, but it would be nothing without a woman or a girl." Mom, you have raised me to be happy, respectful, and driven, the sacrifices you have made are nothing short of miraculous, there is nothing I can do in life that will ever be as remotely significant as the role you have played in mine. Someone to talk to, to joke with, to love, and to have shown me what it is to be a happy, productive, successful person. Thank You. by John Bell Happy Mother's day

Well the dogs got out from a loose fence board putting a big delay in my Mothers Day breakfast treat while we had to search and bring them back. But it was nice when we finally got there!

Thanks, and Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there. :)

Friends,

The President asked for our help to make this Mother's Day a special one for the First Lady.

Join over 300,000 people, and sign his Mother's Day card for her today:

Wish Michelle a Happy Mother's Day — Barack Obama

Thanks. She's going to love this.
