Yes your age and everything plays a role in qualifying to do a survey, depends on the survey of course.
For example, a company might want to know how many in the age bracket of 30 to 45 years old, purchased
kitchen appliances in the past 12 months. To take it even further, that same company might want to know
from only those women in a particular country or a particular area of a country.
That's just a rough example but age certainly plays a role in some surveys.
They wouldn't want me, being 56 years old, to answer a survey about how I like the school lunches.
