ClickBank

Locked

#1 by Kreacher » Sun Jun 10, 2012 14:20

I see PTC ads offering ways to make money with ClickBank. What is ClickBank and is it really any good? Many of the ads I see on the PTC ads seem scammy to me, but I'm a pessimist anyway. I did go to the ClickBank site and it looks like just another affiliate marketing network and I'm already in several of those (CJ, Linkshare, GAN and others).

ClickBanks is king!

ClickBank does offer an affiliate program. It's free. You can place ClickBank sellers products on your
web pages or promote them. You can do a search and locate products that are top selling. You can
do a search and find products that offer the highest commission.

You can also sell your own products using ClickBank. You can pay a one time fee (use to be $49)
and you can sell your own ebooks, software, stuff like that.

Back in the day, I made quite a bit money using ClickBank and also sold some of my own products.

Did you know I was the first person ever online to have a sequential rotator?
Yep, I was. And I'd sell two different versions of it, thru ClickBank. And then, some affiliates of
ClickBank would sell it and get a commission.

It does not work at all like CJ, LinkShare, etc.

And ClickBank is mostly the sale of online products and services.

Like everything else, there is really great products for sell and some that aren't worth a hoot too.

Interesting. Their claim did seem to be more along the line of electronics and internet related stuff. Probably not a good match for me since my sites are more travel and merchandise. I will look into it a bit farther, though. Could be something there.

You say "Back in the day". Do you know the "today" on ClickBank? Anyone else have any experience with ClickBank?

Code: Select All
It does not work at all like CJ, LinkShare, etc.

So how does it work?

It works the same way as it did years ago when it first started.
However, the fee may be higher now for the paid option.

They've did updates over the years, better layouts and such but still works pretty much the
same way it always has. But yep, it's geared at mainly selling online services and products.
