As a kid, and even later, I lived off of the Big Mac, fires and other artery clogging stuff.

I went there two nites ago. In my area, there are not many drive through restaurants that opens 24 hours. And, I enjoy McD just as I enjoy :clixsense:. Speaking of McD, here is an old joke that I have first read in rec.humor:

A European tourist was standing in line at a McDonald’s in Rome (NY). When she got up to the counter she asked for a beer. The red neck standing behind her said, “You fool. You can’t get beer at McDonald’s”. After a few seconds the tourist started laughing. “What’s so dang funny?”, asked the red neck. To which the tourist replied, “It just occurred to me that you are here for the food.”

(PS: in Europe McDonald’s serves beer and wine.)

*groan* Stopped eating there a few years back -- the burgers then were filling and portions were good, but lately buying a meal there now looked like over-steamed sandwiches in cheap cardboard, and like some crew member dropped an encyclopedia on it before serving to you -- and the drinks... *face palm* I'd get move value buying a 1.5L bottle of soda in any convenience store for the price of their large drink ( which isn't even equal to the bottle )

And they don't have mustard here... no fast-food burger outlet ever stocks mustard, McDo included

:( Guess not everyone appreciates having mustard as a condiment, and it's not locally available ( guess their excuse may be 'it's too expensive to be stocked' or something ) -- only a few shops like The Hungry Hippo ( located inside the Stock Exchange building at Pasig City, near San Miguel Corp ) can let customers pour mustard to their heart's content

Me, I'd buy my mustard at the Greenhills Shopping Center ( dibs if there's Dijon on stock )

I think, for the most part all yellow mustard is, is mustard powder and vinegar.

I've heard of people making it by using equal parts of dry mustard powder, water, and vinegar.
