The 38 year’s long legal dispute on maritime boundaries between Myanmar & Bangladesh has come to end by the final verdict of International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) on March 14, 2012. Our long-waited sovereignty over the bay has been established through winning the battle on the “basis of just”. We congratulate the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina & her government for having secured the historical victory.
