Valerie, do you still use Skitch?

I seem to have a strange problem with Skitch.
Below is my current setting.

After clicking the "Share" button to upload the image to Skitch.com, instead of it giving me the direct link to image (like it used to previously), it gives me the link to the Skitch.com page where the image is hosted.

Example : It gives me the link to a page like this - https: //skitch.com/username/abcd/imagename

Previously, it should give me the direct link but with the latest update, I am having this problem.
I uninstalled and re-installed Skitch but it doesn't help either.

Are you having the same problem?

I checked on their forum and another user also has this same problem - Is there a way to copy a direct link/URL of an image - Skitch - Evernote User Forum

Yes I use it but I have never tried the 'share' as I usually upload images to my server.

Can you provide me the settings for the FTP upload?
I can't seem to get the FTP one to work.

I don't have any of that. I don't see the image you displayed above. I do see that I can sign up for 'evernote' which must be what you have done in order to use 'share'.

I always place images on my desktop and if I need the image online, I upload it to my own server.

For the skitch account, you need to click the + button on the left hand corner at the bottom.
You can also add your own FTP settings by clicking the + icon, so that Skitch will automatically upload the image to your FTP. Its that FTP setting I wanted because I can't get that to work either.

Anyways forget it because I tried to solve it in every possible way but failed. Its surely a bug which should be rectified in the next update.

I don't have a plus sign at the bottom of either corner.

I did find these sites:

atariboy | skitch.com

and

Saving and Sharing Images in Skitch for Mac

Ok I've opened an eversave account and will see if I see the plus sign now....I do see an arrow sign on the right.

Ok now I see what you are talking about.....the plus sign.

Here is where you have me confused....you say you want 'that ftp'.

You need to have your server FTP in order to upload to your server/hosting.
Otherwise, you can upload to something else, such as flkr, etc.

Thanks for the atariboy link.
Hopefully it should work. Will try those settings later as right now I have no time for it.

Thanks again.

The Notification Center is not giving me any sound alerts for notifications. I've checked all the settings, tried restarting, disabling and re-enabling everything, but still can't get it to work.
Is anyone else having the same issue? I just hope the problem is not on my end.

I searched on the Apple discussion board and many others are having this problem too, but there is no solution.
