The new update is available at the main publisher's downloading hub, with all regional translated installers for all OS; most reputable downloading hubs will be offering the EN-US installer

Just a minor head's up -- if you're using the Firefox browser, and you manually check for updates for your installed add-ons, some of these may have errors when upgrading to a new version

To get a fix for this inconvenience, visit the main Mozilla Firefox Add-on page, and do a search of your add-on installed -- and do the re-install from there

Head's up -- For Windows Users -- Microsoft has recently released an Optional Update via Windows under kb3022345 -- but there's something to be cautious about this one; according to the Tech Blog from Infoworld, the said Optional update is causing issues on installation, giving a error 800F0922 ( Installation Failure ) message

Since there has been little information of the said Optional Update, some Tech blogs are recommending to Hide the said Optional Update until it will (eventually ) be fixed

Heads-up -- The Document Foundation has now released LibreOffice Productivity Suite v4.4.3; the new version of is available at the main publisher's site for all OS types ( Windows, Mac, Linux ) -- most reputable downloading hubs will offer the Windows Installer

Offhand: Currently some downloading hubs are offering Beta variants such like Adobe Flash and Adobe AIR -- please do note that Beta products are intended for Debugging and Evaluation purposes, not for General Usage -- do not use any Beta programs unless you have a good amount of experience to handle issues that may arise, as well with dealing with uninstallation issues ( Beta programs are known to leave registry signatures, unlike Stable releases )

Offhand: Make sure that once you download an offline installer, always scan it first with your updated anti-virus and anti-malware programs, and once you begin the process of installation -- Take it very slowly! Read everything, or you might end up installing PUPs ( Potentially Unwanted Programs ) There are already cases of popular, and well-known programs that are now bundled with PUP adware ( examples like OpenCandy ) and Browser redirection/hijacking ( examples like Ask Toolbar )

So when you're using offline installers -- create a System restore point first, then take it slow, and be careful

EDIT UPDATE: There has been an Tech article in regards to McAfee Stinger -- a second-opinion scanner in regards to malware infection/detection -- the update comes with something users are not informed of: it was installing a Windows-like service into the system called the McAfee Validation Service, which proves very difficult to remove ( the update has now been considered with such 'malware-like' behavior that some reputable downloading hubs are now pulling it out of their depositories to ensure the safety of users )

The only way to remove the said program and it's unwanted additional component is to download the McAfee Removal Tool and completely remove the program ( note that when someone installs the new McAfee Stinger, it does not create a System Restore point -- something that could have helped if anyone wants it removed safely )

EDIT Update: Just of late, there seems to be a component that's present in Mozilla Firefox v38 onwards; checking with tech blogs, the Pocket feature in Firefox is a third-party 'Save-for-later' program ( unfortunately, this service is actually not needed as a whole )

For members having issues, or just don't want the new features ( Pocket, Reader, Call, etc. ) found with the current Firefox browser, you can try this: go to the Mozilla Add-ons ( as seen at: Add-ons for Firefox ) and install the Classic Theme Restorer v1.3.2.1 -- after installing and a quick shutdown/restart of the browser, open the Add-on menu page by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+A -- then click on the add-on's option tab

Now inside the Option tab of the Classic Theme Restorer add-on, make your way to the Advanced tab click-menu and uncheck all the options there -- once these are all unchecked and you click on the OK button, allow the browser to restart to make the changes -- after a few moments, your Firefox browser will be working again, this time without the third-party added programs

It's uncertain what will happen to Firefox, and the add-ons that have served it's very core that made the browser unique

I had a major spat with one of the original Netscape developers recently, and I left his project (which is completely different to, but kinda like a server-side spiritual successor to Netscape Communicator) because he's determined to run that into the ground too - by making exactly the same mistakes Netscape made.

Mozilla has a long history of strangling itself despite having superior tech, and this permeates with all it's past and present developers, in every project they're involved with.

I do know that LibreOffice Portable is now at 5.0.0 rev2 -- the portable version is available at the main publisher's site, and some reputable downloading hubs will offer the two variants: v5.0.0Rev2 and v5.0.0Rev2 All Languages ( the second portable variant is much bigger since it will be adding additional language packs )

With more than a week before Patch Tuesdays -- the official week where Microsoft releases security updates for all Windows users, they have released an Optional update -- KB3092627

The issue stemmed from users that had issues with errors leading from the Symantec End Point Protection Small Business Edition, so the update may depend if you have a product/gear that supports the related software ( In other words: if you don't have the said software in relation to Symanatec, don't install it since it's an optional component )
