 Pretty late head's up, but one nevertheless  -- Mozilla Firefox has now released v19.0.2 through its updater, and is avalable for download at the maid publisher's site

:!: Please do check if the Mozilla publisher site is always Mozilla.org -- the publisher has noted that there are sites that may mask as the Mozilla site, tricking users to download a compromised version of it's browser -- to be safe, go to Add-ons for Firefox then click on the Mozilla logo on the upper-right side -- this will lead you to the publisher's site ;)

 Reference source -- A website "http: // supportfirefox .perl .sh/" designed just like Mozilla Firefox site, is driving users to download fake browser. Please check. | Firefox Support Forum | Mozilla Support

Web Forgery !! :o
This has become very prominent these days. Glad to have the default setting in browsers to block forgeries. But one must be aware of what they are browsing!

 Another late head's-up ( I really need to keep tabs now... ) -- BillP Studios has released WinPatrol 2013 version 27 with a news article in his site underlining the changes and notes regarding it

And Brightfort ( formerly known as Javacool ) has released their new SpywareBlaster v5.0 -- this new version will have, to date, will have at least 16017 entries to protect IE and Firefox browsers -- note that this program is NOT A SCANNER but serves as a front-line shield to protect users from spyware intrusion -- more details about this program are available at the publisher's site

**Both programs ( for Windows ) are available to download directly at the publishers sites, and your favorite downloading hubs

Head's-up -- Mozilla has now released the new Firefox v20.0 -- it's now ready to download via your borwser's updater, and it's installer can be downloaded at the publisher's site and/or favorite downloading hubs

Note: Get ready though -- the new update will be checking your add-ons and plug-ins if they're compatible before and after the installation -- so don't get mad when you find out that some add-ons/plug-ins won't work anymore ;)

* For those who like to see the status of what the new features are -- these have been noted at GHacks Feature article -- Firefox 20.0: Find out what is new -

v20 is a great news for me as I am very enthusiastically waiting for the new tab/window private browsing

Now I will not have switch to another profile to access private when I am still using non-private ;)

I wish there is a per tab private browsing   but that is not so necessary although it depends on situations.

 Found the official Release Notes from Mozilla -- Mozilla Firefox 2 Release Notes

If by any chance, there's a few things in the two links I provided for troubleshooting issues ( ex: Firefox now comes with a download manager -- if you want to disable this, since it may slow down your connections, the tip is found in the GHacks news article earlier ) ;)

 Head's-up -- time for a massive update:

Adobe has now released Flash 11.7.700.169 for IE and Non-IE browsers, which can be downloaded at the main publisher's site ( both online and offline installers ) as well at your favorite downloading hubs

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware ( MBAM ) has now released the new v1.75 -- this is now available for download at the main publisher's site at Malwarebytes.org and at your favorite downloading hubs

Also: for those who need Adobe Shockwave player and Adobe AIR, the new versions are out as well -- Adobe Shockwave player is now at v12.0.2.122 ( both Slim and Full versions ), and AIR is at v3.7.0.1530 -- these are also available at the publisher's site and other downloading hubs

*Please note that the Malwarebytes main site is found at "dot ORG" not "dot COM" or other address prefix ; and that there is an Adobe AIR for the Mac that's ready for download at the main publisher's site

It seems that the dot com redirects to the dot org ;)

 If someone does ( by mistake, or otherwise ) enter the Malwarebytes site using a COM prefix -- they shouldn't worry about the redirection ( out of fear thinking it's going to lead them to an unsafe site ) -- this is a safe URL redirection made by the browser, so there's no need to panic ;)

:!: Head's-up: Mozilla has released a necessary update for Firefox -- please check your browsers updater, for it should now be at v20.0.1

For those who want to the get the installer -- the safest route is to go on the Mozilla Add-on site ( seen at Add-ons for Firefox ) -- then at the upper-right side, click on the black Mozilla logo -- this will redirect you to the main Mozilla site safely -- which is Mozilla dot ORG ( since there are still some sites that mimic / look like the original -- basically hijack sites -- a warning that Mozilla still informs to it's users )

From there, you can safely download the new Firefox installer at it's main site page ;) ( Alternatively, you can visit your favorite downloading hubs as well )

 Release notes in regards to Firefox v20.0.1 can be seen at: Firefox Notes - Desktop

Edit: Another way to download Mozilla Firefox can be done by accessing the Firefox Plug-in Checker-- here you can check the status of your plug-ins ( Adobe Flash, Java, Medias, etc ) -- at the upper-left you'll be able to see the download tab for Firefox ( which will lead you to Mozilla dot ORG )
