 Head's up -- After the unexpected issues made with the previous version that was v2.0, Malwarebytes has officially released MBAM v2.0.2.1012

The new version is ready to download at the publisher's main downloading section, as well as reputable downloading hubs

* Make sure that once you have it installed, follow it's guide to reboot your gear; then once you have your gear up and running, do a manual update of the program so that it can perform optimally in scanning for potential unwanted programs/infections that anti-virus programs may miss

 Sorry for the late updates -- had to deal with matters outside PTC

 Head's Up -- Adobe has now released Shockwave Player at v12.1.2.152; there are two variants that anyone can download from the main publisher's site -- they come in either Full or Slim variants

Kaspersky has released their Stand-Alone program ( meaning that one doesn't need to install the product ) -- TDSSKiller is now available at v3.0.0.37

Dropbox has released Dropbox v2.8.3

All downloads are available at the respective publisher's downloading sections, as well as respectable downloading hubs

:!: Off-note: As always, a friendly advice to make it a habit to scan all the installers you download from the Web with an updated Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware program to ensure that your systems will be safe

* SpywareBlaster can be downloaded at the publisher's downloads section, as well as reputable downloading hubs -- it's Free version requires manual updating, while it's Paid version has an automatic updater

Hey oberder,
Do you have any Conduit toolbar (from ClixSense or any other site) installed on Firefox? I was on FF v29 till morning and everything was fine. Then I noticed Conduit updated all their toolbars earlier today.
In the afternoon I upgraded my FF to v30 and ever since I have a really weird problem. The + button to open a new a tab or the shortcut Control+T (Cmd+T on Mac) to open a new tab will not work.
I thought it might be a bug so I tried searching but no one else reported it. I decided to disable all my add-ons and enable it one by one to see if one of them was causing the problem. Eventually, it was a Conduit toolbar which was causing the New Tab issue. I disabled the toolbar and bingo everything is normal again.

So if you have a Conduit toolbar, please check and let me know if you face a similar issue.

Well, I haven't installed the Conduit add-on to my browser since I manually check for ads while doing work *scratches head* so I didn't know there were issues -- but I did notice that on a fresh start of the updated Firefox that ( once again ) that memory consumption is a tad higher ( blame me, I have add-ons I need for work installed  )

But if you'd like to have the old look ( aka Firefox v28 format ), you can visit the Mozilla Add-ons and get the Classic Theme Restorer ( this was offered to fix the issues of the old v29 which was considered by some users as a headache ;) ) -- the add-on still works on the v30 and is now on v1.2.0

 Reference source -- Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) :: Add-ons for Firefox

Also, try the little tip from that page:
Quote:It is recommended to switch to a new clean profile (or at least delete 'localstore.rdf' from profile folder) to avoid UI issues after upgrading from Firefox 28 (and older) to Firefox 29 (and newer).
Note: Hitting "Restore Defaults" in customizing mode (Fx29+) is (almost) equal to deleting 'localstore.rdf' and easier to perform
.

 Head's up -- for both Windows and Mac users:

Adobe has now released new updates for the following products -- AIR is now at v14.0.0.110; Flash Player for IE and Non-IE browsers are now at v14.0.0.125

Google has released Chrome v35.0.1916.153

For Mac OS users -- Mozilla has released Thunderbird at v24.6.0

These updates are available at the publisher's downloading hub, as well as reputable downloading hubs

*Checked with the publisher's downloading hub -- Adobe offers their downloads as well for Linux users; when at the publisher's downloading section, click on the Need Flash Player for a different computer then when redirected, just use the drop-down menus to get your copy for your desired OS

 Head's up -- The Document Foundation has now released for both Windows and Mac OS the new LibreOffice v4.2.5 -- also available at the publisher's site is the portable version ( if one doesn't want to install it, and just have it in their USB ) -- LibreOffice Portable is at v4.2.4

The installer and portable variants are available at the publisher's downloading section, and the offline installer is available at most reputable downloading hubs

:!: Please do make sure that when you visit the main publisher's site, it's web address on your browser is set at HTTPS, to ensure safely and a secure download of their programs

 Head's up -- Irfan Skiljan has now released Irfanview v4.38, along with the new updated plug-ins -- both can be downloaded at the publisher's downloading section* -- the main Irfanview program installer ( without the plug-in, which is needed to work efficiently ) can be downloaded from most reputable downloading hubs

* Please be careful when getting the Irfanview plug-ins from the publisher's site; there are actually three locations one can get the plug-ins -- look carefully for the link that says Alternative Downloading Site so you can get it directly from the publisher's site, while the first two are from the publisher's host sites

:!: I've notice that there's a bit increase of Beta updates lately from many programs; so unless you're used to handle these ( that includes using and safe install/uninstall ) you can get these from the reputable downloading hubs, but do be careful -- these Beta updates may ( or may not ) work with your daily usage

Head's up -- Adobe has now released for both Windows and Mac OS Shockwave Player v12.1.3.153; there are two variants available at the publisher's download section -- Slim and Full -- either one can be used

A little head's up warning: for those you are currently, or about to use Foxit PDF Reader, please be advised that regardless where it is available ( whether from the main publisher's site and other downloading hubs ) the program comes bundled with OpenCandy -- it's a PUP ( Potentially Unwanted Program ) that comes once you installed it into your system. If you plan to do a fresh install, make sure to disable your internet connection momentarily and run MBAM immediately on installing the new update; MBAM will locate the OpenCandy variants and will prompt a restart of your gear

:!: Archived Reference source -- Does Foxit Reader free 6.1.4.0217 have malware?- Foxit Corporation Forums

Always make sure to check the publisher's main site, and get from their downloading sections; also make sure to get from reputable downloading hubs

 Head's up --In lieu to Microsoft's Patch Tuesdays, Adobe has now released Flash for IE and Non-IE browsers v14.0.0.145 -- these two plug-ins are available as an online installer at the main publisher's downloading section ( for offline installers, make sure to locate the click-link Need Flash Player for a different computer )

Offline installers are also available at most reputable downloading hubs

Also, for Microsoft users, check your Windows updater programs manually if needed -- the updates should be in by now ;)

:!: Just a tidbit of protection -- for those downloading installers, please be informed that some downloading hubs have begun adding adware to the programs you may be using -- found a Ghacks news article that is relevant to it ( But sorry guys, can't give the exact site link where the news article originated, so I'll give the search keywords instead: "Beware tests adware distributing download manager" )
