One of my Hummingbirds, in hand

The other day a hummingbird was stuck in the soffit and must have injured his back or a wing. I put him in the outside squirrel cage that is up in a tree. Also put a feeder in with him but he would not feed on his own. I'd go out and force feed him every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, he did get out of the cage and I found him dead not far away by the field.

Today, guess what? Another hummingbird in the garage and Bob brought it over to show me, in hand. Fortunately, this one was only stunned and was able to fly.

As I studied the garage/house, I am pretty sure I solved the mystery. There is a red door handle for the automatic garage door, hanging down from the ceiling in there. My outdoor hummingbird feeders are red. The brightly colored hanging handle, must be attracting them. I had Bob cover/wrap the handle in black material.
