I ate gauze

Locked

#1 by valerie » Fri Oct 19, 2012 17:42

 I had a tooth pulled today and I was hungry afterwards. McDonalds was across the way from the pharmacy so while I was waiting on a prescription, I went over to mcdonalds for a fish sandwich, fries and coffee. I had changed the gauze to a few little squares wadded up on the lower left of my mouth and was eating fries on the right side of my mouth. Then I realized, I ate the gauze. I guess I thought the gauze was french fries and I ate it.

Needless to say, I don't feel very good. :silent:

Val, are you still hungry? Sorry...
How could you even eat after a tooth pulled? Last time I had this done all I wanted was NOTHING..
You might need to go to the ER now.. This is not good.

I was hungry.

That side of my mouth was totally numb so I wasn't in any pain at that time, except for hunger pains.

No, I did not go to ER. They'd probably just give me a laxative and send me home.

( *New on the menu, and now available -- McGauze* )

Just kidding there valerie -- Anyways, I feel the same way; the time I had my tooth pulled, I thought the gauze in my mouth was a piece of gum; without knowing it, I kept chewing it on the way home

I can just imagine an ad on one branch -- *New! McGauze comes with 20% more fiber, and served fresh with your choice of dressings* ( ketchup optional )
