The best possible advice isn't even "keep going" "you'll do it by <insert timespan>!"
Really, the odds are against you. Playing will increase your commulative chances to win, but it's not that much and it is impossible to get a 100% guarantee.
My personal advice, click the Grid whenever you feel like it. "heh, I'm bored... let's click clixgrid, maybe I'll score something!" - that is the ideal stance on Clixgrid, in my opinion. I used to click every day, but it can get disheartening to lose a lot in a row... by not clicking when I don't feel like it, however, I no longer think that way. "heh, I lost. better luck next time - whenever that is."
My stats probably show it - I have 4126 clicks for a $11.25 prize, which seems quite higher than the average from the previous posters; mostly because I won the 5$ one twice - but even if that number were lower, I wouldn't feel down about it. However, if I kept clicking every day and thought "damn, those clicking a few shots get a lot, why am I devoting so much time for no return?", I would probably give up for good. I won the 5$ one both when I was clicking daily and when I was clicking maybe every 3-4 days, whenever I felt like it. If you don't lose anything in your chance to win per click for missing a few days, by all means, MISS a few days. Getting burned and annoyed will do you no good.
