I have decided that if I can get just 1 referral, then I will upgrade to premium. I'm trying very hard to get one, having joined some traffic websites as advised by a nice gentle man earlier in the week, they are a bit confusing but i'm slowly getting the hank of it. If anyone has any other advice for me or a way to get referrals then please let me know. Can't wait to join the upgrade list!

Well, getting a referral under one's wing can be compared to fishing; there's no telling when they'll come -- but they'll come, a bit of patience needed on the side ;)

Meanwhile, here's a Thread link as well to help you on your quest to get more exposure for potential referrals ( courtesy to sp1915 ):

Getting a referral is not that hard - it's getting them and keeping them active that is the hardest part as most people join, click and quit shortly after because they are not happy earning micro cents to cents daily, they expect to earn riches overnight........I never believed in random referral fishing.......If you educate your referrals and you remain honest at all times, that should give you better results.

Also most people know about clixsense and neobux, so it's very hard to get new referrals inside the PTC arena - maybe outside, but that would be harder since outside this arena, people who have no bloody clue about PTC/GPT might consider sites such as these as SCAM and be skeptic.

I tried this approach myself and most people tell me that the site is a ponzi scheme and MLM, even though I show those idiots my earnings come strictly from surveys and tasks !

Getting a referral is one thing, but convincing them to trust the program you refer them to and remain active, is the hardest part, and twisting people's t**s about it is not always the right approach.

This is why I learned a long time ago not to rely on referrals for earnings........Learned the lesson.....:D

No, i think you can get more benefit by give more informations and advice to your refs.
Im new for :cs: , but im quite interest in here.
@darkstar2 : i believe you will gain more refs in future. just give it a try, more.
just said like this, "hey, want you help me to join the mini job? and give a rest for himself to learn and get to know."
its better to growing refs than to growing earnings which from our own activity.
but, im still have 0 refs :P lol

to @valerie : im glad can see an senior member in here. nice to see you Ms. and your name is nice.. i think

@pranav8 : thats easy, just ask what a username your friends is, and if you still cannot see their name, just ask they to rejoin. (in one condition. the sponsor are not active or be banned)
people can change a sponsor, for condition like this. for more info, you can see in /Top Right/Helpdesk button/Frequently Ask Question/Affiliates/can i change my sponsor

keep in spirit, God bless

sincere,
new member

Another way to try and get referrals is with a blog. Because in a blog you can explain in detail how to make to most out of your clixsense membership.

I`ve had better luck with safelist ads than I have with traffic exchanges. In fact I got my one referral from a safelist ad I posted and it took less than 24 hours to get the referral. Now if I could only get more.... lol
