*gasp* :o

You want us to help you stop someone? I never realized we could one day stop a driver from the Forums....

...

OH!

...

Waitaminutethere-- You mean, you want help to stop a program...

 *snicker* Sorry about that, kanthsai143 -- just kidding there

Ok, time to get serious... what do you mean "stopping a Win7 driver"? Updating? Erratic behavior? Not working right?

:?: Still leading to the same question: What kind of problem is it that you're experiencing? What is not working? There is so little to go with other than your description of "i want to stop or remove specific driver in windows 7"

which windows version are you using?unless you know the technical aspects, i suggest a clean install of windows. these problems can occur due to bad ram, corrupted drivers, or malwares. after you reinstall windows, make sure you install a good security suite, & a good anti malware like malware anti malware & spybot.

@ Kanthsai

If you're getting the message blue screen.

Then you have what is called, BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH

They claim there is a fix option. Good Luck with this. I've experienced this twice and both times have had to replace the hard drive.

Best advice while you are still some what operational. If you have any saved docs, pics, files that are important to you then make you a back up copy or find you a back up file service and upload your important files so you will be able to recover them.

In the event you do not find a fix solution and do have to replace the hard drive. Kick Microsoft Operating System to the curb and set up with Linux Operating System, you can learn more about Linux Here

I must agree with kvinod's observation -- I figure your gear ( PC / laptop ) has some corruption issues, but in terms specifically I have no Idea ( but you mentioned memory management on your observation, so a guess would be a lack of memory, or a damaged RAM -- either one needs checking and inspection ).

Two options at most: (1) it would be best to try to go for a fresh re-install of Windows ( that is, if you were able to create a recovery disk for it, but if not (2) you may have to visit your technical support / distributor to have it fixed -- and knowing a trip to a repair one's gear means you'll be spending :( )

Aside from that, if by any chance you plan to visit a technician -- ask for a physical check-up of your gear, and see if there's some parts that need cleaning / replacing -- like a malfunctioning fan can cause some issues to the parts, thus leading to the dreaded BSOD ( a.k.a. Blue Screen Of Death )

Also, there seems no need to disable any Win7 drivers -- just a quick tech support checkup is in order

I remember that kanthsai has once told me that he had the Blue Screen in the previous OS installation

:?: If the problem was from a previous version, then scratch the re-installation -- it may be a technical issue -- in this case ( like a damaged RAM, or lack of RAM, or uncleaned fan causing overheating issues, or so on ) a general clean-up / inspection to a replacement of parts* is in order

If kanthsai has no experience to disassemble his gear ( PC / Laptop ) to visually check the internals, let him visit a technician to see to it ( BTW, kanthsai -- ask if the technician can make a free estimate of the parts that may require replacement, as much as the price of the service charge for cleaning -- if necessary -- so the gear can be ready to use in the least possible time )

---
* depending on some countries, parts may vary from price of retail, as much as the service charges from the technicians / service centers -- looks like kanthsai will have to make a budget check
