I want to work on this task.
There is no need to request our approval before participating in one of our tasks. All you have to do is accept the task and start working. Instructions are provided at the top of each task. Thanks for your interest in working with us!

I have completed this task and I haven't been paid yet. When will I receive my reward?

Typically, there is a slight delay between submitting your answers and receiving your reward on our tasks. If you are contributing to a HIT via Mechanical Turk then that delay may take up to 24 hours. If you are contributing to a task via one of our other offer partners then that delay may be as small as 15 minutes or as long as two days after offer completion.

Why are we doing this if you already have all the answers to the questions?

When you participate on a CrowdFlower task, your contribution is sent directly to real-world organizations that use this information to improve maps, filter offensive content, conduct academic research, and even save lives. It is therefore very important that you contribute high-quality responses. These tasks exist because we do not know all of the answers. The answers that we do know are used to help train honest participants, and filter out dishonest participants.

You marked my answers as wrong, but they were clearly correct.

We do our best to ensure that each task has the best possible quality control system in place, but things do slip through the cracks sometimes. If you feel that our system has treated you unfairly, then be sure to contest the question on the feedback page. You may also send us a clear and concise explanation of the problem using the blue "Send Feedback" button at the top right of the interface (next to your accuracy percentage). If we find that you are correct, then we will be sure to forgive you and all other participants that missed the same question.

You said the job would take 30 minutes, but it took an hour!

The 30 minute task requirement is an estimate based on how long it took us to complete the task on our computers. We have found that loading times vary significantly based on which browser we are using, and we highly recommend using the most up-to-date version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for the best possible results. If you find that we significantly underestimated the time it takes to complete an offer, then please let us know using the blue "Send Feedback" link above and we will reassess the task's length.

It looks like there are more tasks available for this task group, and my work has been accurate. Why can I not continue?

For various reasons, our tasks set an upper limit on the amount of responses a single worker can submit. Very few participants ever reach this limit. If you do reach this limit, then please be aware that it does not reflect poorly on the quality of your contribution, and you are still free to work on any of our other jobs.

When will my work be approved?

We track our participants accuracy as they work. Our system will automatically accept responses when a participant submits a HIT or completes an entire offer, as long as that participant's contribution meets our accuracy requirements. Payment is a separate process, which is outlined in the second question above.

My company can do this work directly.

Thank you for your interest; however, we rely entirely on the crowd for our labor needs. CrowdFlower utilizes the cloud of participants on Mechanical Turk and other similar offer providers to complete our jobs. If you are a website that currently provides offers/tasks to a large high-volume user base, then please review the contact procedures outlined in the documentation for our Channel API

The system says that I am banned/flagged etc, why is that?

This can happen for a number of reasons, if you have submitted more wrong answers than our accuracy threshold will allow multiple times, it can sometimes result in banning/flagging from a single job or from our jobs in general depending on how many times you have been banned from individual jobs. Sometimes our security system will automatically flag workers for submitting a suspicious amount of work in a short amount of time, if you are wrongly flagged it is very easy to de-flag you, so feel free to send us an email if this comes up.

If I leave the task, can I pick up where I left off?

If you have cookies enabled, and do not close out your browser, you should be able to pick up wherever you left off.

How do I find my contributor ID?

If you are completing CrowdFlower tasks, your contribution is completely anonymous. As a result, we cannot find you in our system unless we obtain your unique contributor ID. Please feel free to send us questions/feedback or to report any issue or error you experience while working on these tasks by clicking "Get Support" in the "Help" menu at the top right of the task interface. Be sure to include your contributor ID (and the job ID from the assignment you were working on) when you contact us. Paano kayo makakapag-send ng tickets at saan ito makikita?

Sa Old Crowdflower Task interface



Makikita niyo yung tab na help. I-click niyo yun at may lalabas na drop down list. Task Tour, FAQ (ito yung minention ko sa pinakauna) at ang Get Support (dito kayo pupunta para mag submit ng ticket kung mayroon mang kayong problema tungkol sa task. Click Get support then you will be redirected to crowdflower customer community (Yun lang dapat may account kayo dito kasi you need to log-in).

Ito naman sa New Crowdflower Task interface



Again, i-click lang yung help na tab then choose Get Support.

Kung mapapansin niyo, may nakikita kayong Contribution Id: at Job Id. Requirements ito kung mag sesend kayo ng ticket categorized as a problem.

Kung wala pa kayong account o hindi pa kayo naka log-in, ganito ang lalabas if you click the Get Support.



You need to create an account or log in para makapag-submit ng ticket.

Kapag nag-log in na kayo sa Crowdflower, ganito na makikita ninyo.

actually it's what I'm doing pag nagkakaproblema ako regarding sa payment ng task......ilang beses na rin ako nakatanggap ng bonus payment :)

There are four categories.

*Asking a Question (Question) We'll see if other people have this question, too.
*Sharing and Idea (Idea) We'll see if other people have this idea, too.
*Report a Problem (Problem) We'll look for solutions.
*Give Praise (Praise) What makes you happy about this company?

Pero mostly kung may problema kayo about the task, you should choose the problem category. Kung may gusto kayong itanong at may dapat malaman, Ask a Question.

Type your question. Then click continue.

Tip ko lang, maging specific kayo sa itatanong ninyo

e.g. Ano yung problema, Anong pangalan ng Task, etc.

Tapos ganito na ang susunod mong makikita. You edit your problem.

Select the topic type: (doon sa apat na category).
Give your topic a great title:
Job ID (very important)
Add some details. (pinakaimportante dito yung proof meaning dapat may image kayo kung kinakailangan, pwede niyo ring i-post yung Job ID at Contribution ID.)
Share what you feel.
After you finish hit the post button.

Base sa halimbawa ng ticket na na submit ko na...

The topic type is a problem.

Then yung topic title tungkol sa task category na may problema ako.

Ang details ko naman kung bakit mali ako ngunit nagbigay ako ng tamang sagot. Nag post rin ako ng image na nagsasabi tungkol sa problema ko. Yung correct answer daw ay directory website pero kapag you click the link it's a broken url. So dapat may consideration tungkol dito.

You can choose also How you feel at the bottom.



After posting ganito na itsura niya.



Tapos makikita mo na ito as a topic. Maaring may ibang tao mag reply dito na may katulad ng problema mo. Pero ang importante ay may official representative ng Crowdflower na dapat mag reply sayo.

At makikita mo na ang iyong topic ay nasa topic lists na. Halimbawa yung topic ko,makikita ninyo sa pinakababa.



Paano mo naman malalaman kung may nag reply na sa topic mo especially by Crowdflower Official Representative?

Pwede mo siyang hanapin doon sa topic list then check mo yung replies after your name and before what time it is posted.

Pero mas madali kung mismo sa dashboard mo titignan. Kasi nandito lahat nung topics na ginawa mo at mga topics na fina-follow mo na may pareho kang problema.

Like from the example, go to your name then choose your dash board.



Dito makikita mo yung mga topics na fina-follow mo at mga topics na ginawa mo at makikita mo kung may replies na.

So thats it. Sana naintindihan ninyo.

Before anything else, kung may problema kayo sa task, you send a ticket to Crowdflower and not to ClixSense just like what I did. I apologized. Hehe :)



Kung wala pang reply tungkol sa topic mo sa Crowdflower, it takes a couple of days or minsan, ilang minuto at oras lang may sagot na sila. They are doing their best as soon as they can. Patience, huwag mainip, nag rereply naman sila. Just like this on a conversion on ClixSense representative.

Share ko sa inyo na nagrereply talaga sila. The action taken at kung may reward ka just like a bonus na binibigay nila. Yung bonus na binibigay nila ay depende. Minsan a certain amount at minsan kung magkano yung amount na hindi na credit o nabayaran sayo ay yun ang amount na ibibigay sayo depende sa topic na binigay mo.

Sa bonus details, minsan makikita mo sa task then choose messages tab.

-----Ito yung nagkaproblema ako sa task na $0.05 each na naka dalawa ako ngunit hindi na-credit equalled to $0.10. Na received ko rin siya. Mahahalata mo naman kasi we always check our balance. Hindi naman ito nasasabay sa pag credit ng bonus mo sa daily checklist. Bale hindi ko na na received ito sa message, diretso na nila agad credit yung amount tapos +2 dun sa task Top 10 weekly :)

I made another ticket for the task titled.

Find and Correct a Business Addresses in Ireland (Now with better pay!) Job2 (India/Philippines)

There are many incorrect questions on this task. You should submit ticket if you're incorrectly banned.
