I AM SCARY

Locked

#1 by rabbnawazkhan » Thu Apr 25, 2013 02:48

I joined a new website backed by a forex group and earned about $45 in a short span of time as standard member through clicks and bonuses. Then the site dropped to a low profile and on coming up again changed its membership levels etc. On inquiring the Admin told he has suffered great losses at the hands of cheaters and has taken these measures to stop them from doing so in future. After some time it happened again and the site is shortly going to close. Admin gave the same reason for closure .
I was also a member of a high profile investment site. It took a nosedive and now has surfaced again after about an year or so. The reason was same “the cheaters”. Now it will have to take a long time to regain the trust of the members.
The above 2 examples have been given to show as to how cheaters can ruin an established site. In Clixsense we feel ourselves safe and secure and if one day (God Forbid) we hear a bad news then everybody will go in a shock. The reason is "cheaters” in our rank and file. In Top Sponsors I have seen a name of a group well known for such activities. I joined their 2 sites but they never paid me. Instead they just made an entry in my accounts “Paid”. So why the cheaters and scammers ,who are in the habit of cheating & scamming individuals , will not go for the same for a rich site like ours?

:( Sadly, some sites ( not mentioning names of actual sites, as per Forum rules ) use the old blame game to justify "losses" and 'whatever-nameless-luck-from-heaven-or-hell-rained-down-on-us' -- something like this isn't new at all; a quick search on some blogs as far as ( at least ) 3-5 years ago, document some sites doing this tactic to 'refund' and 'compensate for the losses'

By the look of it, you got burned ( a term that's, in one way, describing that you were definitely screwed over a bad deal -- no offense taken, I hope ) for some of these sites. I've been there as well; signed up to what I thought was an established site ( again, no mentioning of sites ) only to know before I was able to cash out that it folded -- and months later, found out they re-opened and started taking in new members. *groan* Chalk it up to experience, learn and move on...

... and pray whatever Karma comes to them... *inaudible mumbling and grumbling*

Dear oberder !
I am worried that what happened in other sites may not happen over here due to cheaters sitting with us rather in a superior position.Let us see if any notice of it is taken or not.

You are a victim of more mis representing ponzi and fraud sites.

Any site that guarantees your profits and daily return at high proportion, is more likely nothing a deceitful scam ! :)

Join sites with REAL business model, not hype and promises of riches. Join REAL PTCs if you want to earn money not ponzi PTC, stay away from HYIP and all those high risk gambling sites and you should be fine.

Oh and I think you should change your topic title, I think what you meant to say is "I'M SCARED". :D

Dear Darkstar2 !
Thank you for your comments. The sites I have mentioned which were ruined by cheaters were not ponzi or fraud sites. The first one was a PTC run by Martian Cioana (a very honest, responsive and cooperative Admin) and the other one was a PTC cum Investment site under Nelson (an honest and paying Admin).
The sites which did not pay me belong to a group sitting with us and these are PTC sites.
I agree to your proposal.

Well you see I always have a problem when there is the word INVESTMENTS and PTC. A *REAL* PTC with a true business model based on advertiser revenues and actual ads, doesn't and shouldn't offer expensive upgrades and renting of referrals of any kind. The majority of what is called "PTC" are actually ponzi models because they rely mostly on upgrades and renting of referrals and basically "pass the buck" There are only very few sites that really fit the definition of actual PTC. This has nothing to do with the individual running the site, you have some honest people out there who probably want a quick, and easier / faster way to get people to join, but are not aware of the methods to run a proper PTC. Just because a site is paying and the admin is nice does not mean the sites are TRUE PTCs. Any site that has "INVESTMENTS" and renting / recycling of referrals of any kind is working off a ponzi model, as there is no way they could sustain covering every single member's RR click on ad revenues alone since even the clicks to self sponsored ads count.

I was not pointing fingers at any individuals in particular, but rather the PTC (REAL PTC) industry has in some way been affected by all the scams out there past and present.

And too many people confuse BUX with PTC, when a lot of the so called "PTC" out there are actually ponzi.

Now let's focus on ClixSense, should you be scared here ? NO. This is site is what TRUE PTC / GPT is about.
There is no expensive upgrade, renting of referrals, etc. and no you won't earn here that $10 a day from your active RR bots like on that site that starts with P........ So here your risk is 0..........

Where you should be concerned is when a PTC focuses on all those upgrades and functions specific to memberships, expensive referrals etc then you should be concerned.....

The TRUE PTC business model is about PAID TO CLICK........and has NOTHING to do with investments.

Sure a TRUE PTC may offer a membership, but used for the purpose of proving to some advertisers that you paid for a transaction online - This could unlock some targeted ads and more ads, however you are benefiting from the SAME features as non premium members and in this case the upgrade is a small cost and NOT used as a ponzi model.

Why do PTC sites closed nowadays ? Honest or not, people are running them as ponzi.

Dear Darkstar2 !
Thank you very much for explaining the things in such a detail which has increased my knowledge.Actually I had put forward my apprehensions about the cheaters who are scaming and looting people through their own sites many in numbers but enjoying here in CS with a large lot of referrals. If they commit a fraud over here as per their nature ,will all of us not be affected? I am talking of a so called American Group.

I'm working on several sites and reached their minimum limit for cash out. it took me six months to click on ads and now entering second month since i have requested for payment, which means 8 months with nothing. i keep my patient but ... and this is not just one site but five. i sent them an inquiry email but still nothing. not knowing is worst.
