Hello, Everyone.

How is everyone? I've been a member of ClexSense for about a month now and I have to say that it is a descent site to make money from. My question doesn't really have any connection to ClixSense, but I could use some information that someone here might be able to help me with. Recently I have been considering starting a blog and would like to know if there are any blogging sites out there that are free to use and launch, or at least fairly inexpensive to use. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for listening and have a great day.

Sincerely,
Michael Hazen

There are free blogging systems but some of them are very strict about what you
can place on the blog. For the most part, I don't suggest using free blogs if you are
going to use it for promoting programs and products. You see the free blog offers
are generally giving it to people free so they can advertise and they don't want anything
else advertised on the blog.

There are companies like blogger that is free and ok if you are wanting to post some
family pictures, and that sort of thing.

Another problem with free blogs is, you don't own it. So there you go spending a lot
of work on your free blog and then one day, you see your blog is gone. Where did my
my blog go? Well, the company for whatever reason, deleted it!

Mainly what I suggest and some others may come along and post suggestions to, is
to go to a hosting company that may specialize in blog hosting. Some may even offer
a free domain name. Some may have blog scripts like wordpress. You may find some
that charge only $5 a month or even less. That way, it is your blog and you can put
whatever you want on it. Plus, if you decide to leave that hosting company, you can
download the entire site/blog and upload it else where or have it transferred.

I know that the following blogging platforms do not allow any PTC related content. You might get away with it in the inital few days or months, but eventually they will take down your blog.

> Blogger
> Wordpress.com
> Weebly

Like Valerie said, buy a domain and webspace and you'll be in total control of your site.
The easiest would be to install Wordpress on it and start blogging :)

Thanks everyone for your input. It was helpful. I had a feeling that those free blog sites were a bit restrictive. Thanks again. :)
