Do You Use Traffic Exchanges?

Locked

I am interested to hear if anyone uses Traffic Exchanges here, not just to promote your Clixsense url but to promote other programs or to make money from them?

I am wonder if I am alone in this field in that the results I get from Traffic Exchanges are extremely poor.

Not for the want of choice, nearly every week there's a new Traffic Exchange popping up in the cyberworld market, and there are hundreds and hundreds to choose from, so does this dilute the effectiveness of them, by having so much choice?

I used to be an avid Traffic Exchange user, but I used them to earn a few dollars here and there, but now I find them frustrating to the point of madness, I don't get any referrals from them, through promoting any of my other affiliate links and now I use just a few to simply 'pass the time away'

No longer I see them as an avenue of making any money. I go months without getting a single referral, yet they are still popular, so someone must be benefitting and earning from them (apart from of course the owners!)

Take this I join a brand new TE, which promises random referrals, it cost $7.95 for a month so I try it out, I surf for the month WITHOUT getting a single random referral and I don't get a single referral from promoting my other programs?

Now that makes me wonder, what is going on, after all you don't know what's going on? So who is getting those 'random referrals' and who is really benefiting from me 'promoting my links'?

So have you had much success with Traffic Exchanges (NO LINKS PLEASE) I am interested in what you think of them, I don't want to join any more or waste any more money on them!

Thanks

Yes you are correct I am the same. Traffic exchanges do give extremely poor results for getting referrals simply because people don't really pay attention to the adds. I know I don't I just click to get through them as fast as I can.

Where possible even multi tasking with more than one add showing in different windows. Especially here and can you blame me when we are getting 1 cent for 6 minute adds! In some cases like yesterday on the Supersonic 2 cent vids 30 minutes and would you believe they never even paid after doing them.

Ridiculous doesn't even come close to how angry it makes me feel.

Just lately it seems the pi-- is starting to really be taken out of us all.

I don't know what is happening to clixsense just lately, but since they have acquired some of these survey sites the surveys seem to have just gone down hill. I don't know if greed has started to take over or is it just the state of the economy.

But things are definitely getting worse and I know it is not my imagination.

Also know one is bothered about joining sites paying a few cents for many hours work!

People in this day and age are looking for a high return for very little work, I know because I have tried to talk friends into joining here and they just laugh at me. One person even said to me if you walk down the road a couple of miles you will find more money on the street than you earn on ptc sites.

Indeed, some surfers actually surf 12 traffic exchanges at a time? I was shocked, but yes, sadly it is possible, and some traffic exchange timers are 3 seconds or even less? How can you possibly get results from showing your ad for 3 seconds? The time it takes to jump over to another traffic exchange to click and then the next and next....!

And you also don't know the methods, some, not all of the owners of TE's take, how do we know what goes on? I often wonder whether dubious means, about losing referrals goes on, who gets the referral you work hard clicking for? Because it could be so easy for that referral to go AWOL without you even knowing, it may be a conspiracy theory or paranoia on my part, but you are right I'd probably find more money walking the streets than what I do on the Traffic Exchanges.

Here at Clixsense I make on average a $1 a day, but I don't do surveys, I can't stand them, it frustrates the hell out of me when you waste time filling them in only to be told you are not eligible and you get ZILCH, ZERO, NOTHING for your time.

At the end of the day, TIME is more precious than MONEY.

Thank you for your valuable input, good to hear I am not the only one who gets frustrated.

There are also too many scams online too, so I am very cautious about investing, I have had my fingers burnt too many times in the past, so I gave up!
