Its not quantity but quality that matters

Even just 10 active referrals from a Tier 1 country can be extremely profitable. As a thumb rule, you can check your daily affiliate earnings for a period of time (say 14 days or 1 month or 2 months, whatever you feel will give you a nice average to judge your earnings).
Then figure out your daily average affiliate earnings as a Standard member. Premium members earn double affiliate earnings, so just calculate it if it is going to be profitable and worth it or not.
