Well it's cricket season again in Australia domestic series but how will Australia go in their tour of India this season....we have already lost the Ashes and now the 20/20 vs India......I fear that Australia is on the way down unless we start to blood some good new younger players!

Wow! Finally found a cricket fan on ClixSense
Yes, your team is indeed going through a terrible phase. It must be hard for you guys after getting so used to dominating everyone for a decade.
All the while when you guys dominated, I used to root for England to win the Ashes. And now when the tables have turned, I want Australia to win

Meanwhile I am still feeling miserable ever since Sachin announced his retirement. I'll try and make sure I am in Mumbai to watch him for one final time

My India, the one I know, doesn’t really exist, couldn’t really exist, without Sachin.

We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will.

Very true ptcscrutiny, I saw Sachin play in Sydney at the SCG as a young 17 year old and we all knew then he would be an amazing player....there has alway been huge respect for Sachin in Australia!

Good result last night, Australia actually had a win :D

You've witnessed history. A nice story to tell your grandchildren.

Sachin got a nice gift earlier this year when he turned 40 :)

Congrats!

But this current 7 match ODI series makes really no sense. Its just to mint money for the cricket boards.
Instead they could have had a 3 match T20 and a 3 match ODI series. 7 ODIs is an overkill for both - players as well as the fans.

So far, I have only watched Sachin play live once. This match against SriLanka in Pune : 4th ODI: India v Sri Lanka at Pune, Nov 3, 2005 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

And the only lasting memory was his stumps being shattered by a Vaas delivery.

So BCCI has finally announced the venues for the West Indies series and as expected, Eden Gardens gets to host the 199th while Wankhade gets to host Sachin's 200th and final test.
Fingers crossed, I hope he doesn't emulate Bradman in his final innings :|

Phew! What a chase by India. Why is it that its always Australia at the receiving end when it comes to improbable chases?
How does Kohli manage to produce such gems everytime when India needs it?
