I hope all of you are ok over there. I hope you found a safe place to be during the storm.

The brunt of the storm hit the outer sections of the country, mostly those close to the coastal areas -- comparing this from any storm that I've ever seen, this was definitely the worst :(

Best check news sites like CNN, BBC and Aljazeera

You are right oberder,I call my parents right away ,they live north part of cebu province and they are in signal no.3 ,when i talked to mom at the phone she detailed me the wind was really really strong, and the left side of the rooftop was destroyed due to the wind, and i saw those pics which they send to me the damage of the place. It was really bad, I am just to thankful that my family are totally ok and safe.I felt very sad on those people who lost their houses, and family.Hope they can get foods, clothes, medicine and shelter to live.

Got to check other news sites -- found off the local Yahoo page a lot of photos of Yolanda's destructive wake:

Death toll may reach up to 10,000 people. So scary. They are also many videos on YouTube about the super typhoon.

Yes. One more thing. The reason why other people underestimate or criticize or give negative comments about Filipinos is because of their actions. Just like the issue about the donations.

Would you believe that Germany send donations and have their Germany trucks pass inside the Philippines but what the government do, they blocked the trucks because they should be paying taxes? Mga pinoy nga naman talaga. Hoping the donations are in good hands. Another source is that there are countries donated meatloaves but when it reach Philippines, it is now sardines. Such a lame.

Sadly, in some municipalities it goes down to a single word -- politics

I think there needs to be some thing else and I think it needs to be set up very soon.

What I am saying is, we are living in bad weather times. We don't know what or where
it will happen next. Sure there are organizations like RedCross but it is not enough. Not
now with all the world bad weather conditions.

The world needs something in which every working man and every working woman, must
give out of paycheck a dollar or some small amount, that it go into international aide for
weather destruction areas.

Yeah.

From other source, UN likes the donation to be straightly given to the victims and surpassed the government because they say on simple donations they make something to it like self earnings.
