Yesterday, I posted on the forum about the fact that two popular PTC sites were down and was praising ClixSense for being up and running. That post can be found here.

A member disputed that the sites were down and I provided evidence that, for me, the sites were down. That evidence was not from the sites but from a test run on my PC and a 'is it down' website.

Today, I checked the post... it has been moderated (words and images removed with the reason being 'this is ClixSense') and now makes no sense at all because all but one mention of the other sites have been deleted. In my view, a case of over-moderation.

Moderators:
Please take note that other PTC sites are out there and the majority of ClixSense members are also members of those other sites, therefore there is no need to delete any mention of them in the forum unless a link is added to that mention which in my case there was not. ClixSense is the no.1 site, there is no need to fear lesser competition. In football (soccer) terms you could call the best of the rest "the noisy neighbours" who now and again do better but overall you are the best. Additionally, if someone was to use a search engine to find information on a site, say for example "***Bux", it would be highly likely that the forum post would appear in the results... and, of course, that post stated that while that site was down, ClixSense was up and running, which can only be a good advert for ClixSense.

Also, take note, those sites are regularly advertised by members so if you choose to delete any mention of them perhaps those adverts should be removed too, but then again, would that not defeat the whole point of ClixSense??

There may be a forum rule that states we can't promote the other sites in the forum, but if so and also generally, anything that says ClixSense is better than "***Bux" (or other site) should not be a problem.

I don't wish to argue with the moderators, but I feel to edit a post that praises ClixSense to a point where it no longer makes sense is wrong. YES, 'this is ClixSense' and that should be the very same reason why you should not fear the mention of other sites.

You can call it whatever you want and if you have a complaint on a moderator,
take it to the ClixSense administration by submitting a support ticket through
the Helpdesk.

By the way, praising ClixSense is one thing since this IS ClixSense but comparing
it and discussing other programs that are down, has absolutely nothing to do with
ClixSense. So please refrain from posting about other programs.
