Just out of curiosity, I've noticed that sometimes it says "You have been invited to join Clixsense by (followed by the person's username). Is this a banner or something else? How would I be able to do this with my own link?

Your affiliate referral url is in your 'account summary' page.
Also, there is banners that you can use too. If you mouse over 'Affiliates' above, then click on the
last option 'banners' you'll see them.
