How can I stop phone solicitors from calling? Any ideas?

* Don't do ANY Paid to Call offers !
* Don't do ANY mobile offers / SMS offers
* Don't install apps from untrusted sources, that gain access to your phone / ID
* Don't provide your phone number online to untrusted sites.

You WILL get solicited because it is a pandemic ! Telemarketers will get you number, some just
cold call random numbers, but you will get even more calls if you give your number out to marketers online through those junk offers.

DO not call list might help a little but TMs find ways to bypass that by calling from foreign countries.

There is never a 100% effective way to get rid of SPAM, mail fraud and telemarketers.

Blocking numbers doesn't work anymore because with VoIP they can forge their CID info !!!!!

ANY time you do a transaction online or offline where your address and/or number is given, you can be sure that the company you are dealing with will sell your info, whether it is trusted company or not, there is money to be made from selling leads

UNFORTUNATELY telemarketing is not illegal You'll have to just make their lives a living hell so the same mothe.........(well you know ) can't keep calling you back after you told them you didn't want to buy their dirty underwear

If you're talking about a landline, keep an unlisted number, disconnect the service and/or keep your phone turned off.
If you're talking about a cell phone, change your number.

In most countries you can register on a "No Soliciting List", infact, on alot of these, if you are on this list and they still call you, they have to pay you quite alot of money, which is why it stops them. Google it

Change you # and then if you see a call on your cell that isn't a contact just push end. And don't do surveys and stuff like that over the phone and if you go to join a program don';t give out your phone #
