What I've learned about EARNING on Clixsense...

Locked

#1 by thedorchannel » Sat Feb 01, 2014 15:19

ive been here about a month and heres what i learned...

tell me if you agree, or disagree...

keep in mind, I havent gotton any referrls yet....

1. the number one way to earn money is surveys. and more surveys. They pay high, and only take 10-30 minutes to complete. If I had spent more time doing surveys rather than sifting through hundreds of pointless offers, i'd have a lot more money.

2. tasks are pretty pointless. Yes, they always pay, but surveys are better... usually if I spend an hour doing tasks, I usually end up making about 50-60 cents... I could earn more if the tasks didnt always change but they do, and i have to spend time learning the rules for a new task. I'd rather do surveys and make double that in half the time.

3. Offers (other than surveys) are pretty terrible. downloads, signups, vidoes, quizzes... all terrible. they dont pay, they lead you to another site, they make you sort through a bunch of other offers until youre fed up and just quit.

4. Trust the clixsense wall. I guess peanut labs are ok... but the clixsense wall almost always pays.

5. To win the clixgrid, pick 1 corner and stick with it. its obvious that u need to click the same squares everyday... but its easy to forget which ones u clicked. so if u just pick a corner, and do 20 clicks on that corner everyday, you'll win a couple times a week. my amount of wins shot up when i started doing this

6. livesample surveys are great... i already made a thread about this but i cant state it enough... they almost always have a survey... its a dollar... and if u dont qualify, they instantly have another... also, I NEVER have to re-fill my info for a livesample prescreening. they save my info and easily find surveys for me.

7. once again, surveys are the best. i cant stress this enough, someone please tell me if im wrong. but theyre relatively quick and the pay more than anything else that u can do everyday.

what clixsense rules do you guys follow for your own personal journey?

it is depend on the task and the offer itself. to me as Indonesian, the offers are rubbish (samplicious might be the worst) and we don't get offers as much as 1st tier country get.

easiest and fastest task with high payment i did is Wordsmith task. no link to click and website to visit, just read a paragraph (4-5 sentences) and make correction, 20 cents/ minute.

so far, Offers contribute 5% to my total earning.

I agree that surveys in the USA is best. But as mentioned, your country makes a difference. There are many other factors as well. I'm glad you are doing well with surveys, but don't bank on that continuing. I have run Livesample out of surveys and not qualified. ;)

The key to surveys seems to be having a life. That is, if you watch a lot of TV, go to movies, buy a lot of electronic and other stuff, eat at restaurants, have kids at home, make a 6 digit income, and many other things like that, you can qualify and complete surveys easily. Of course, if your life is that busy, you probably don't have time to complete surveys ... and/or don't need/want to.

I'm not sure that your idea on the ClixGrid is viable, but what do I know? I have tried different ways and patterns. Sometimes I win great for a while at other times it is far between wins. I don't count the 5 extra chances as wins, sorry.

I agree that tasks are rubbish. I have tried and seldom complete one. I'm always told that I did something wrong.

Whatever works for you is what you should go with. Good luck! :D

No, I don't agree.

A lot depends on where you are and what you want to do.

For many members, they do well doing tasks and prefer those over anything else.
In fact, some members make extremely good extra money doing tasks.

Whereas some might prefer to do surveys there are always those that prefer to
spend their time mostly in promoting and building their 8 levels.

Still yet, there are many members that do not much of anything other than click
the ads each day. After all, viewing the ads take little effort and little time and for
those with little of time, it can be beneficial to them over time.

Course, there is always the clixgrid and some like to focus on it.

In regards to offers, well there are some pretty good offers and they do vary over
time. Some pay rather well for simply signing up to something or making a phone
call.

The downloads are not the greatest, that is for sure.

I hate the surveys, you waste so much precious time on them, most of the time you are thrown out straight away, some of them you get half way through them only to tell you sorry you are not eligible, and some you waste twenty minutes on them get to the end to say you are not eligible..

Some are just repetitive, you wade through pages and pages and pages...

Too much hassle, too much time for too little gain...

The Clixgrid there is no 'magical formula' you just have to be lucky, don't matter what square you pick or what time, you can go weeks and weeks without winning a cent.

The tasks, thanks to the time change, I used to earn a lot through completing the Casino tasks, now I have ONE a day, big money, yeah right... You are penalized if you live in the wrong country!

The offers, I just do the videos the 1 centers, not much but they add up

Radio Loyalty is a waste of time since they changed it to 3cents for 30 minutes, most of the time the captcha doesn't load properly or you are not credited...

As a Premium Member I am lucky to make $5 a week with 97 referrals... Still in a month I can earn the Premium Year Upgrade so that's something, grateful for small mercies!

Your point is valid but surveys aren't available to everyone.. people belonging to asian countries have to rely on tasks to earn.. you can increase your per task rate by passing the skill tests that you can find on crowdflower dashboard.. the more accuracy you have, the more and higher paying tasks you will get..

So true, however, it's part of the deal apparently ... Just today I made $3.22 and the day is half finished, but before getting to the good survey I had to go through 6 in a row that screened me out, few scam and dishonest surveys along the way, but that's fine, I rather be scammed early on than wait 30 minutes to be told I get $0. Some days I try dozen and get scammed or simply do not qualify, but on another site and direct panel few bucks earned.

So yes surveys is a pain but the more you try and go through the hurdles the more you will earn eventually and far better than tasks. Most tasks are broken and expel / judge you unfairly, bad crowdflower spport, etc. Then there is the mystery as to why some people in countries that normally have little to no tasks have thousands and people in same country have none, despite having all badges and high accuracy of 95-99% ! So true, for some tasks is a higher earner, those who don't have access to surveys and providing there is more tasks ! BUT tasks overall require more time and the earnings are so low.

Or months even, since this site relies on ad revenues to deliver prizes and not some ponzi scheme like certain bux sites, the odds are obviously far lower. Indeed, no magic squares, the squares are there just for show.

Well said mate....... I used to be able to earn $1.20-$1.50 daily for quite some time last year with the daily casino tasks...........Now, LUCKY if I can get 1 or 2. Some days I manage 3, but that's best case scenario.

It's true you are penalised if in the wrong country.......Without tasks and surveys / offers your earning potential limits to having to rely on referrals. Then you have the same issue, you get referrals but they quit on you because they get discouraged earning pennies when they are earning $ on ponzi bux sites. So in the end tasks and offers is probably the easiest money you will make but you have not only to be in the right country, but have the right profile.

But that said, earning online is not limited to surveys and tasks, there are other means to earn, good ways, but they might require more skill and in some cases start up money. Some other opportunities are free but require some patience and work. If you are good with coding, design, you are a developer, indie developer, etc, you can make good money online with advertising, PPD,etc.

The effortless easiest way is survey........BUT on the downside you have to accept being robbed from time to time with unscrupulous sponsors. :D

I was making a killing on surveys a month or so ago.. now? they dont even ask me a question before I get the 'Sorry, you didnt get approved' message... Seems in life one thing is for certain- change.. you cant depend on something.. I think you just have to keep searching for new ideas- surveys can be great and then suddenly you wont get zilch..

One real big dissapointment for me in 2014 is videos.. I was making some great coin each day watching HyprMX videos here and on alot of other sites.. No rejection, no approval issues, no qualifying.. now we are lucky if there are 3-4 videos available.. in fact- you have to pretty much stay awake until 12am which is when they apparently renew? and even at that point you only get a few.. Taking away the videos has dramatically eroded my confidence in the future of these sites.. Surveys are hit are miss.. its the steady money you need.. even if its just .50/1.00 a day, it was consistent.. Now every day is a crapshoot for me..

and just how do you manage to click the same corner 20 times in one day when each square can only be clicked ONCE every 24 hours??? :|

Amazed that no one else picked up on that! :o

I have to disagree on the tasks. You get paid pretty good on the ones that are actually surveys.

It makes no difference if you click on the same boxes at the same time everyday. It won't increase/decrease you chance of winning a prize.
