ClixGrid basically runs on one's luck -- regardless of membership ( Standard or Premium user ), it just goes down to plain random luck

 Reference source -- ClixGrid Optimizations and Bonus Clicks | ClixSense Forum

No tip, no tricks, no special moves, no cheat codes, no mumbo-jumbo hocus-pokus spells, no special prayers, and definitely no contract-to-sign-in-exchange-for-your-eternal-soul

Just keep on clicking; be it a pattern, or a completely random choice of click position, who knows -- you just might get lucky if not today perhaps the next -- down feel down if you don't get to win today, there's always another chance ;)

But... if you really want a tip or two -- well, there have been one that have been 'tried and tested', but be warned: this 'tip' were done in the early days ( a.k.a. 'years ago' ) and it was much as for humor sake; below is the link to the said Thread, and you have to read the entire Thread to understand why it's a 'tried and tested' tip

Remember: Just keep on clicking

Adding to what oberder said,
Odds of 1 in 400 doesn't mean you will definitely win a prize after every 400 clicks. It actually means that for every 400 clicks on the Grid globally, someone will win a prize.
