The New York Times has more details on the oil slicks (fuel) spotted by Vietnamese navy planes:

"A 12-mile long oil slick spotted between Malaysia and Vietnam Saturday afternoon is thought to be the first sign that a missing Malaysia Airlines flight with 239 people aboard went down in the waters between southernmost Vietnam and northern Malaysia, according to Vietnam’s director of civil aviation."

Full passenger manifest released.

Yeah..I do hope everything gonna be fine but logically...we need to prepare for the worst case scenario.. :|

man..this tragedy was one of the worst thing happen in Malaysia, overall in south east asia region to be specific(in terms of airliner disaster of course)..sigh..

I really hope authorities can announce a good news even though if its only piece of it.. :(

for those who want to know the updates..it has been broadcast worldwide..Malaysian TV & Radio, CNN, ABC, CBC, Australian Network and other representative broadcasters..#PrayForMH370

Well Luigi Maraldi and Martin Weiss were not on board, both had their passports stolen in Thailand.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have two friends on the list SyahNSalmaH.

The passports of 2 EU citizens -Austrian Kessell and Italian Maraldi - had been stolen in Thailand. Kessell's one was stolen 2 years ago. Maraldi's passport was stolen last year.

Two passengers were travelling with those stolen passports.

It sounds as if it went down into the ocean. If that is so, they should be seeing some
signs of the wreckage very soon. Some items would begin to float to the top.

Of course, one would prefer to think it was simply hijacked to a remote island and that
all onboard are alive.
