Quote of the day

"I always knew looking back on my tears would bring me laughter,
but I never knew looking back on my laughter would make me cry

There is a voice inside of you
That whispers all day long,
‘I feel this is right for me,
I know that this is wrong.’
No teacher, preacher, parent, friend
Or wise man can decide
What’s right for you – just listen to
The voice that speaks inside.

The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people!

Actually the full quote is,
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.

This quote became the talk of the town when Stan Wawrinka won the Australian Open this year.
Wawrinka has this quote tattooed on his left forearm.

Full part is:

"We live age. All of old. No Other Us Nothing else ever.
Try Nothing Ever tried All Fails Ever Failed What Ever No Matter.
Aged Tried Try Better Try again Never Fails Fails Never Fail again We Matter Live Better Fail better."

Both quotes are shortened versions from a piece Worstward Ho by Beckett. Thanks for yours, and the info.

Great tatoo.

 Offhand: I'll be pulling a Two-for-One quote, based from Murphy's Law

"If something can go wrong, it will."

and

"If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway."

Many people hear voices when no-one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing.
