it work, i joined ClixSense around Nov 2007, just few months after launched (i have to quit due to study and work and forgot the old account details). as you can see, after 6 years ClixSense is still online and paying its members.
i rejoined and got paid several times (spent my first earning to upgrade), all are free. as greyjoy said, i paid the iron price
