Buxvertise Landing Page Mentioning Clixsense

Locked

#1 by pavlosyiorkas » Mon Sep 22, 2014 13:45

I was surfing advertisements on Clixsense the other day, when I noticed an advertisement from Buxvertise - apparently a new ptc website... again - that was claiming with a Big Title that All Clixsense Users Use Buxvertise.

Is this legit? Can they actually do it? Aren't they violating anything? :?:

Does Clixsense has any relation with Buxvertise?

What are your comments on the specific landing page?

since i don't use/join their site, you can say that their claim is a lie.

I thought so too.

Can Clixsense force them to stop doing this by law?

:!: Always be cautious about sites that mention about "this is a site that is promoted / used / talked about / etc by other ( insert PTC site name )" -- in fact, it doesn't hurt to be skeptical, and don't just jump in and sign up to such services; look around, there are a lot of Forums outside ClixSense ( some are dedicated to review such sites; sorry that I can't mention their site names -- though a quick search off your favorite search engine would be a good start )

Good old sentence to keep at heart: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

Guys, Guys..

I think you misunderstood me... :o

I am not planning to join to that site..

I was just thinking..

Is it ok - by law - to use another ptc websites name for promotional activities like buxvertise is doing?

Can clixsense force them to stop using their name, without their permission?

At least not on their landing pages !

#1) Avoid joining that site
#2) Any site that is caught in lies and deceit should be a red flag
#3) They are doing what is called misrepresentation and deceptive advertising, a lot of companies use these tactics to advertise. If they claim every ClixSense user is a member that is a lie, I could care less about bux sites or any ponzi bots laden, scam and I'm sure many CS users know better. But are they breaking the law ? Well that is the equivalent of tooth paste companies claiming "dentist recommended", "dentists use......" etc. "Every doctors recommend" etc.
I don't think CS can force them to retract their ad unless they are slandering or forging, but the best weapon against such sites is to expose their deceptiveness........ Sites LIE all the time.......LIE about stats, LIE about referrals being human, LIE about money they paid out......the industry is one big lie.... So no, not every CS users is renting their bots - I sure am not anyway.

Every ClixSense buys Colgate and it's highly recommended by the admin! :) :D

It's not only on Clixsense but also on another PTC sites like "The King of PTC" Bux, etc.
Looks like it's planted on their advertisement, so everytime they're landing to a PTC site, they'll copy the site's name and showing it to us.
I think that's why Clixsense is not able to stop them, because they're actually not using Clixsense name.

Is there any way to implement this on out marketing arsenal? :?: I mean I'm sure this ''trick'' grabs the attention of ptc users. I am sure I could pull more people to join CLixsense from other ptc websites using this piece of code.. :)

Yeah clever marketing using your city, the site you are on, etc..........

Most ads on PTCs are lies, BS and hype..........

Don't support advertisers who use deceptive advertising........GOOD companies, don't need to deceive you.

CS is a good company and does none of that in its ads.......

Don't support PONZI bux sites and the scammers who encourage scams.

They don't claim every member from Clixsense use that site. They just say Clixsense members worldwide use that site just as clixsense members worldwide use other sites.

Buxvertise just get the website name from the parent site they had been put it. If you create your website like example.com then put their landing page in iframe you will see it said Buxvertise is being used by example users worldwide. That's not hard thing to do.

It's still deceptive marketing, as they are using whatever site they are advertising in mentioning "XX members use this worldwide" for all you know maybe there are no members, maybe there are.

It would be more accurate to say "This PONZI is used world wide by PTC members all over the world " :D
