Looks like it is just to attract people in the name of offers. All items go out of stock in 3 seconds.. #FraudKart

Even I checked their site and whatever products I was interested in were NOT on sale. So all the hoopla surrounding this "big billion day" sale ended up in nothing (atleast for me). Looks like just another marketing strategy.
Amazon.in is having a similar sale in 10 days time so lets see what thats going to be like.

I don't think Amazon will disappoint us. Amazon also has the best affiliate payouts in the industry... FlipKart sucks there too...

Here is a tip ;)
I use the Buy Hatke extension for price comparisons, adding coupons automatically at checkout with just a click and checking the price history of the product.
The best part of this extension is that you can set an alert and monitor the price of a particular item (no limit to the number of products/items you can monitor). So the moment the price drops, you will get an email stating that the price of the product has dropped. This particular feature has saved me so much money over the past one year.
I remember buying an American Tourister backpack for ₹1168 whose MRP was ₹2650, thanks to the price drop mail.

Its a must have extension if you shop online regularly.

As Flipkart advertised much about Big Billion Day, but seeing the offers weren't worth at all. I logged in before 8 a.m. the offers started and saw few products were labelled as SOLD OUT.. Lol

Out of date/fashion products were discounted and reading their reviews quality was not up to mark. New products of high price were discounted about 1k / 2k...

My overall view about this is not worth with respect to their advertisement.

And i moved into the snapdeal page, not sure why the page didn't scroll at all to view the products, heard snapdeal also started diwali offers..

Have not heard anyone was able to buy Pendrive for Rs. 1.
Could not find Samsung Tab 2 anywhere for Rs. 1,390.

They just tried to lure customers to their website.
