My favorites are Australia, followed by NewZealand. South Africa are a very strong side but they always tend to choke in pressure games and I don't see them doing any different this time.
AB de Villiers is a freak. He is a class apart and no one from the current generation comes even close this fellow. He is simply mind-blowing.
India have started off very strongly but I just hope they haven't peaked too early. Hopefully they can carry this form till the end.

Tomorrow's game between Australia and NewZealand is one I am really looking forward to. Hopefully the Black Caps can put one across their rivals ;)

Australia,India,New Zeland & South Africa are the top teams as I think. They perform really well in this tournament. If we talk about the batting strength of South Africa mainly it depends on AB & Amla.If they will go to dressing room early South Africa puts a lot of trouble. How ever I hope they will continue their performance through out the series.India & Australia always give a huge pressure to opposite team because we trust all batsmen of those teams.and those batsmen are able to continue run rates well in every pressure moments.and also we can't forget Sri lanka.Their three top class seniors & youngers are coming stedy to tournament

Phew! What a game between Australia and NewZealand! I expected it to close and competitive but didn't expect such a thriller. Finally a close game between two heavy weights in this World Cup.
Who would want to be a bowler with batsmen like McCullum and AB at the other end.

India have been unbelievable so far. India and South Africa have made it to the semis pretty easily. On current form, Australia and New Zealand should make up the other two.

Well done! You guys deserve to be in the finals.
Would love to see an India-New Zealand final. Defeating Australia in Australia would be sweet and at the same time if we have a bad day at The G, it would be less painful to loose to NZ ;)

Here is a nice trivia - AUS and NZ are both playing their 7th semi-final in World Cups. Australia have won every single one of them, while New Zealand have never won any.
This time it might be the first for both nations ;)

Tough times don't last, but tough blokes do.

- Brendon McCullum

Best of luck Baz for tomorrow's semi-final against the Proteas

And by the way, Brendon McCullum is officially in charge of the whole of New Zealand!

McCullum writes a letter of excuse for every NZL employee ahead of semi-final clash.

I'd like S.A. to go through, but probably that's not going to happen unless they can break the jinx of choking in big matches.

Congrats To NZ team for storming in to the Finals. As for SA, the tradition continues of faltering at the finish.
Hope the 2nd SF will be thrilling as well.

Congrats New Zealand on making it across the Tasman.

This match will definitely rank among the top 10 greatest ODIs of all time, very close to that 1999 WC semi-final.
SA didn't choke today and you have to feel for them. Seeing AB and Morkel cry makes you realize how cruel sport can be at times.

This will perhaps be the image of the tournament!

You become a great when you win a tough contest. You become a legend when you share your rival's pain. #NZvSA #CWC15

Yes, the game can be merciless, which SA have already got to know from the 1999 SF as you said.
This time they didn't quite actually choke, but still they end on losing side which is pretty unexplainable.
There seems to be a curse - you know what I mean when you'll remember that rain-washed 1992 SF which was decided by the D/L system.
In almost every WC, they've faced one or other precarious situations in the KO stages, that have led to their departure.

I really feel for them. I hoped they will make it this time, but that wasn't to be.

Let's hope so ;)
I guess every Kiwi will be supporting India today

Even though I really want India to win today, I think Australia might just prove too tough. India need to play out of their skins today to win. If today's match is even half as good as the other semi-final, it'll be worth it.

206-2 in 35 overs with Maxwell in. The next hour is going to be a nightmare :silent:

Got rid of Maxwell quickly, but anything > 300 will be a daunting task to chase in a WC Semi.

India just ruined their own chance. After seeing through the opening session, they threw the game out.
Chasing something like that against the Aussies in a WC SF was always going to be an uphill struggle, but a minimum responsibility was reqd. to give them any chance & none except the captain showed it.
So, the result wasn't surprising. They have been Down Under all this Summer.

Congrats to the Kangaroos and now we should have a fitting finale to the championship.
