Hello friend,

I get survey email from paypal (maybe you too) and the contents of the survey about satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the dispute process.

As it is known, paypal allow time to perform a dispute for 180 days from the date of the transaction,
but dispute only applies to tangible goods, and does not apply to intangibles (eg investment and the like)
I said in the survey, that the existence of 'unilateral regulation', the seller will be happy and 'exploit' the rules to take advantage as much as possible, or cheat and go running with money from members.
Let us together to give advice to PayPal in order to provide protection to the buyer for intangible products, so that the seller does not casually wander to deceive many people.

You can see this topic in US - PayPal Community - PayPal Community

Thank you all

 Verified the link -- ( it's HTTPS is confirmed as well on VirusTotal via Re-Analyze option, since the last scan was dated 2012 )

Seems the link is meant to 'straighten' out the FAQs formatting that's found in the main PayPal site, making it a bit easier for some of it's customers/members to understand the ins-and-outs of PayPal, and as much get on the idea of maintaining a Forum to show activity among members

Now I agree with mukande -- what I don't understand is why would they send a survey to inquire about your satisfaction/dissatisfaction of a service, when one can just submit a Resolution Ticket ( under the Contact link at the bottom of PayPal's main page ) on their main site without the use of a redirection link ( that is, the link provided in that email you may have opened from PayPal )

I say ignore the email; don't open anymore emails like that -- go to the main site instead and inquire from there

Just a bit of info....

If the email is addressed to your name you have on Paypal, and if you hover your mouse over any links within the email and the addy is httpS with paypal url, it's probably legit...maybe. LOL

Any other email purporting to be from Paypal but does not have your name on it is probably a spoof email and should be forwarded to: spoof@paypal.com

I've been with Paypal since 1999 and have never received any 3rd party emails (or surveys) from them at all (just my personal experience).

Edit to add in info from the main Paypal site Security information link:

Quote:Report Phishing or Spoof email

If you receive a suspicious email FORWARD it to spoof@paypal.com. Our security experts will be able to look at the email to determine if it is a fake. If it is a fake, then we will get the source of the email shutdown as quickly as possible. By reporting these emails you will protect yourself and everyone else too.

There are some hints about identifying scam email below but it is often very difficult to tell for sure since the scammers adjust their tactics. So, if you have the slightest doubt, send it to our experts for investigation.

Note: Please FORWARD the suspect email don’t cut and paste the contents because valuable tracking information about the source will be lost.
