Proadco.
I didn't expect you to jump on my goodbye post... but as always, you've dedicated such nice stuff to me that I almost feel overwhelmed.
You don't know me; if you think you know me just because you've read some of my posts, think again.
Did you skip the part where I explained that I'm not working online anymore? Thanks for all those advices on how to get rich by working online, seriously, I mean it, you seem you know what you're talking about... but how can you assume I haven't worried to take info in? I've been at ClixSense for one year, and before I got here, and while I was here, I tried other sites and other ways to earn online; but it's quite simple, there are things I'm not interested in doing. And have you thought about the possibility I might not want to get rich? Or the possibility of getting rich by other means? Or even the possibility that I didn't need more money than what I've been earning?
I don't need to justify myself in front of you, but I'll tell you that most of those 1500 posts were about asking for help, helping others, congratulate others and share/comment on some interesting info related to WORK (CrowdFlower tasks, offers, etc.). So I wouldn't exchange them for any cent. But I know you read that old thread where ubaidh and I shared some personal stuff (oh my God, we talked about my dead aunt, and yes, I also mentioned I spent an evening watching Vikings, drinking and listening to music, and I also remember I commented on a Sunday familiar reunion... yeah, definitely that must be what my whole life is about, I shared ALL my personal info there, shame on me!!!).
It's not about bringing my personal life to work, it's that, as I said before, I think we're all humans here, not robots (maybe I should think again), so I can't help acting like a human and treating others as if they're humans too.
You said you're not concerned with anyone's personal opinion because it's not business related as they are speaking form the comforts of home... well, maybe you're speaking from the stress of a crowded office, who knows! If you don't like my posts, it's easy, don't read them! No one is compelling you to. But you can't pretend to impose the way you act on others.
This is General Talk and, in case you haven't noticed, there are lots of threads around here which have nothing to do with work; this was created to share some other stuff, and people are free to contribute or not, as long as they abide by the rules. And they never locked any of my threads because I went off topic; they locked them either because I made an unintenional misuse of things like quoting and using emoticons, or because I myself asked them to lock it, or simply because everything was already said.
By the way, votes and posts are two different things which have nothing to do here: I requested people to unvote me because, again, I'm transferring my account to another person, so I want him to start fresh if possible, as it won't be me anymore. Of course, my posts will remain there, but who said anything about going back to find old posts?
You really seem to have this need to tell me how to live my life... maybe it's because somehow you dislike your own life or are unable to enjoy it a little bit more, or you simply assume everybody has the same goals, or needs the same things, or are compelled to act as you think they should... and that's a very biased and uptight view of things.
Are you aware we're all going to die, sooner or later? And guess what, we'll leave this world the same as we arrived: with empty pockets. In the meanwhile, you could just live and let live.
Or you could post a complaint at the Feature Requests section to see if they can do something to solve this annoying thing of people talking about things which have nothing to do with how to become a money making machine.
I wish you all the best on your way to financial prosperity; you really seem to like writing too, so... yeah, I suppose you're already taking some profit of it and applying your own advices.
Take care, be happy, think whatever you want to think, and goodbye.
Regards.
