I wont share any personal info.... I want to go abroad on Job purpose.. I am 30 years old.. Been unemployed for 3 years.... My problem is I have many friends but they are settled .. I was having very bad social life with most of 3 years having no social contact or llife except spending life on internet.. Then I came across this crowdflower & clixsense which is helping Me to achieve My dream of going abroad & getting a qualified job.. BTW I am a Mech Engineer from no1 private Engineering College in India.. My friends are settled & Married... I am not.. I have only choice of making it in IT or Software industry... but.... I lack skill set which I am practicing online.. My friend has promised Me that He will help Me out with Job in Singapore in this month.. I have actually delayed My trip to Singapore by 2 years .. Now with this income on Clixsense & Crowdflower I am getting the confidene back into My life.. I am now having confidence to make it big in My life .. But.. With Good things come bad things as well.. My problem is lack of social life which has put in this awkward position. I am getting money hell I have made $350 in less than 1 month but still things havent changed coz I have not got the right track or Job which will help Me to settle down.. I am earning but I am also yearning for social activity.. Believe Me this with this online work that We do.. It certainly affects our social life.. I am sure each & every one of Us is facing this problem at some point or the other coz u have to stay in front of ur laptop or desktop while doing this work....


Now My main issue is improve skillset & Go abroad & get a Job & get married(My parents are worried regarding this) & get the Job I deserve but still keep on working for Crowdflower coz it gives that Supplementary income which provides the necessary cushion for ur life....

First of all I want to tell you that You are a big fool that you thought of committing suicide. It is not an option to get out of your problems. Think of your parents who afforded to bring you at this stage.
Secondly If you want to go abroad, then this may not help you. If you are qualified enough then, Go and Find some suitable job for you in your city. Going abroad is also not a good option if you can manage your requirements here in India.
Don't pamper yourself. It's called life and you only have to struggle to be able to succeed.

Ii m no expert here as I'm just 19,but this is just my advice.

I think you need to have a girlfriend, make your social life work. You seem a little low. Get over it as fast as you can,life has its ups and downjust don't give up,get involve in some stuff like gym,yoga,or any of your hobbies. Meet people.

Regarding going abroad, I don't think can help you going to abroad. Its good source for pocket money kind of thing.I don't know about your family background, but I think you should do some kind of job,earn 30-40k with job as well as .that will help you do things on your own.

I'll tell you something about me,I earn money coz I want do things on my own,just to be open.being a full-time student 8-10k is amazing for me,gives me confidence to do things on my own.gives a proud feeling that being 19 I'm not hopping on my parents income anymore.both my parents are highly paid govt officials. My sister after doing MBA is struggling for a stable job.I can understand how you are going through, so just don't give up.things will get better for you.
Regarding marriage, don't marry for at least 2 yrs. Coz marriage needs lot of responsibilities, determination and confidence.

Agreed with rahul. No self shutdown, please - it never solves anything. But why SG? Try US or EU, much more opportunities to make a living. Mechanical engineers are needed everywhere, especially in first world regions where infrastructures are already in place for a long time and need tender loving care from trained personnel. You can try to get an H-1B visa (get employed first by a US subsidiary company or branch in India then look for open positions in the parent company's home operations; moving within ranks are usually easier than applying directly to the parent corp). There's also another option with regards to your wish of marriage: go to tinder or similar sites and find an American girl (I'm sure there are many pretty Indians there) Marrying a citizen automatically gives you citizenship as well.

To keep this thread related to tasks: yes, you can do CF tasks in the US. I heard they get 3-4 times as many jobs as we do, although I don't know if the pay is enough to cover the high cost of living.

Here's an interesting read: H-1B Specialty Occupations DoD Cooperative Research and Development Project Workers and Fashion Models. So you can go to a local gym, build abs, become a prominent fashion model, and - voilà - hello California!

See bro, to settle down in life u need not compulsarily go abroad there are lot of other options. No job we do is small or big doesn't matter. Even if we do a job for 5000rs that is good enough. Don't care what other's think. Building up confidence slowly is important rather than staying idle.

Do not depend upon your friends. Having friends is good, but no one will help at the critical time. These friendships of schools, colleges don't last long except for some. Everything revolves around money. If you have it, there is respect and if you don't have, I can say if you got 100 friends 95 of them wont even look at you when u ask for help. The only people that genuinely care is parents, own brothers or sisters, and 2 or 3 friends.

So what i want to say is to work here in clixsense and earn money is really good. That is a step in the right direction. The next thing is slowly looking out for a job even a small one just go for it and build up gradually. Having 1 year experience in your field would be more than enough to take off. Good luck buddy.

As some said above, committing suicide is the utmost stupidest thing to do. When I was in college, my fellow classmate committed suicide for not getting motorcycle. Seeing that, his mother committed suicide. What achievement did he do by doing so. Did he get motorcycle No.. One more thing is that as someone said above,
Don't have a girlfriend. It's not the time to have one.. They're obstacles in your way at this point of stage. Don't lose hope & Never give up.

Trying to strike it rich penny banging is a time killer. People give up their youth to be owned by a mouse.
Life will pass you by and one day you look in the mirror to only find out what the heck happen, you've aged, where did the time fly by too.

If you are 30 now, 3,650 days take or give a few days, you will be 40 years of age.

The real money to be made is running your own personal niche website on any topic of choice, hosting products to earn commissions and earning Free money from contextual ads and only do penny banging to help buffer the cost of your hosting and domain till your site starts earning it's own way and / or use earnings to advertise.

Get off your ass and go outside, meet the people there. Do you have a friend circle? Interact with them - Not through online, but in person. Spending too much time siting on the net won't help you in socializing, rather you'll go more into the cocoon.

You said you lack in the reqd. skill sets, so you need to address that issue. Avail some training in soft skills. Look for which institutions are offering them in your locality. Technical Acumen alone is not enough in today's world to become employable. You need possess those skill sets before you can be job-ready.

If you're having suicidal thoughts, then you need to get professional help ASAP. If reqd. you'd have to go through some psychological counseling - it helps immensely.

And lastly, like some have said, going abroad is not the only option. You can find many lucrative jobs here in India as well. Many MNCs & PSUs are recruiting a large quantity of Engineers each year with a competitive pay package.
And you're from Mechanical stream - which is a Core Engg, so there'll be no dearth of jobs for it.

But if you still want to build a career abroad, that's fine - there are some good consultancies which take care of it.

Good Luck in whatever you do. But, be positive always.
